Coach Carl Lewis Cook of Mt. Judea passed away last night.  In total he coached over 50 years at Mt. Judea.  Took many of his teams to the state tournament and I know of a couple in the early 90s went all the way to the Final Four in State.

Arkansas lost a true legend in my opinion.

RIP Coach Cook.

I hope someone puts together a recap of his coaching career. He certainly influenced many, many lives in and around Mt. Judea.

RIP Coach.

Most of the posters on here are too young to remember Coach Cook and that is sad. The leather jacket, the boots, the mustache , how hard a place he Mount judea to play! RIP Coach Cook!

Moonshiner

Many lives influenced by that one man.
Rest In Peace Coach Cook.

Eagle Power

True Legend and very respected by all who knew him. It will never be the same.

went there and watched them play many years ago.   had a good team, and they played his game.   Like to see where a coach is in charge.   Don't happen many places anymore.    One reason high school basketball has faded some in quality play.
