ReconSniper

techathtrainer

Have it for PC, have a friend that has it for 360. Prefer it for PC over 360 (better cheats).

I got pretty far in it on PS3.

If you like Oblivion, you should try out World of Warcraft. Have you ever played it? I have been playing it off and on for a few years now.

Marionpats07™

This game is sick(as in good) on 360, I played it for about an hour at my friends house once.

Chief_Osceola™

Did you know it's possible to beat the PC version in under 8 minutes?  I don't know if it's possible on the 360, because the PC version can be modded, but there's a video somewhere on youtube of a guy doing it.

that's too hard to believe because you have to walk pretty far to some places and it isn't easy to close oblivion gates

Chief_Osceola™

Nevermind - it was Morrowind, not Oblivion.  I don't know why I thought it was Oblivion.  I guess since they're both part of the Elder Scrolls series.  Here's the video:

Well, with mods you can increase anything you want with the right mod. I wouldn't say you can beat it in 8, since he already said it wasn't Oblivion. However, with the right mod you can change to one hit kills, infinite health, run as fast as you want, and so on. You could probably beat the game in 25 minutes or 30 minutes with one of those mods.

I have stayed up many school nights playing that. My main is a 70 Blood Elf Mage.

I am about as far into this game as you can be without doing any of the main quest. If I recall right my guy is in the 40's.

I've never played Oblivion, but I own Morrowind on the XBOX. Of course,Oblivion's graphics are a thousand times better, but how much better is Oblivion than its predecessor? I'm seriously lacking in 360 games so I might pick it up some time.

ReconSniper

i love the commercials for and with that game. especially the one with MR. T

With your level now I imagine the main quest, expecially the early parts, will be like having cheats on or something.  Only a few of the monsters in the game get stronger as you do.

I'm going to do the main quest next time I get into the game. I have done all the guilds except the thief's guild.

B&GT

The thief's guild was hard.  You do get a great reward in the Grey Fox mask.  When you have it on you can commit crimes all you want.  When you take it off, you're not being hunted, the Grey Fox is.

steal something and get caught.   also look up which cave the skeleton key is located in.  it makes the thieves' guild quest line extremely easy.  the skeleton key is a lockpick that doesn't break.  so you just have to sit there and hit X over and over until they pop.

You don't have to go to jail.  You can read one of the "wanted: gray fox" posters around town and you go to a thieves meeting at 12 at the waterfront.

You don't have to have one.  I had that many before.  I think you have to get to a certain point in the main quest for all of them to open.  I have it on the PS3 so I only very recently got the expansion.

Oh I see where you're confused.  The gates only lead to one plane of Oblivion, just different islands in it.  They're for only one of the daedric princes, I forget his name.  The expansion Shivering Isles is about another of the princes, and you get to go to his plane, which is the Shivering Isles.

War Eagle

So all 60 of the gates only lead to one daedra prince?

B&GT

Yeah, but you don't actually fight the prince until the conclusion of the main quest in the game.  You just close the gates.  You don't have to close all 60 or anything, just a personal goal.
