No new topics here lately for 5A conference. Is the current ratings based on Maxpreps pretty accurate? Any surprises for State next week?

Not bad, but I suspect Batesville is better than Harrison and LRCA may be a bit under rated.
It does not appear Maxpreps is available for scores at a good pace. :) Here are results so far:

It's pretty much a West and East affair now - soon to be East alone I would think.
The 5A East is just heads and shoulders above everyone else.

Day in and day out, that is likely the case. It's one and done now, however, and anything can happen. I expect the Batesille - Lakeside game to be close, as well as the Nettleton game. In fact, A Nettleton loss would not surprise me. Lakeside over Batesville would be an upset for those who follow 5-A volleyball closely.

That is a little surprising that both semi finals went 3-0 but then again, I did not get to watch them.
Batesville vs Paragould was a great match. Every single match in 5A was 3-0.
Pretty sure in the Batesville/Paragould game the scores were 25-23, 29-27, and 26-28. Straight sets but each one a nail biter!!
