I'd have to say my favorite is surrealism.
I spend a decent amount of time at the Salvador Dali museum.

I have a friend who does amazing paintings, for very reasonable prices, $150-$300. She's the one who got me into art a few years back.

That's a very good price for oil paintings.

Hoghead

Magnolia ? Any day now ?  I have a feeling Harv Welch must be on the short list for the Panthers...... Pick somebody already !!!!!

True Believer

Hoghead????   You must be tired.

True Believer

Were there any twisters?

Ridge Rat

Wind woke me up just before midnight. Camper was bouncing off the ground. Most of the crew ran up to the landlord's house and waited it out. Two of the boys slept right through it...alcohol is a wonderful sleep aid apparently. Told em this morning they'll wake up dead one of these days if they don't watch the weather before getting one on.

DogsWin7

A lot of high winds...Bre, I haven't watched the local news this morning but I know warnings were for most of the day and night in AR.

Good advice RR.

Lions84

We got High winds and about a 1/2 inch of Rain at my place but no damage.  I love having underground unities.

Valleysports

If it makes you feel better, Diehard, I just came in from working outside, -40 F.

Yikes!!!!

No Valley it doesn't make me feel better it makes me feel worse because I wouldn't want anyone I know to have to endure those temps!  That's way too cold!!!

Wind has been strong here today but I think by the weekend should be back up in the mid 50's or 60's.

High is 50 degrees so far and the sun is out!

True Believer

I keep feeling like I'm trying to get sick.  If that is possible.  Scratchy throat.  Sinus hurts.  But not fever.  That is the only way I stay home is if I have a fever.

It was snowing here a little bit.   So you know what I'm thinking......

I've been sick with this mess off and on since Christmas.

It was mid 30's this morning in Orlando.

It gets super cold in Orlando, then super hot in the summer. Spring Training there sucked. 30's, 40's in the morning, bumping 90 by noon.

Christmas 09 we came from Tampa to Arkansas for the holiday, drove straight from Arkansas to Miami to see the ex's Cuban familia. It was colder in Miami than it was in Arkansas. If I remember correctly, it set a record for low temps, dipped down into the upper 20's on South Beach.

Valleysports

It's typically warmer in Alaska, than Arkansas, for a week or two a year.  I'm talking March..  It ain't right now though.   :'(

Lions84

We are having 50 degree nights and 60-75 degree days this week in DFW.

Valleysports

FOX is having an interview with someone from a camp, in the Antarctic, today.  Showing pictures.  Looks same as here.  I get a lot of questions about what it's like here.  Only it's -10 there, we're -36.

DogsWin7

No way....no how I'm going to Alaska!

It's 55 degrees right now...high tomorrow around lower 60's.

True Believer

So I wash my hands singing Happy Birthday to me 2 x's.  I wipe my desk down with Disinfectant.  I use the wipies at Kroger, Walmart etc.  Had my flu shot.   Held my breath if someone sneezed or coughed near me until I could get away from that area.

I was sick in the bed could not get up for 4 days.  Tired, sore throat, cough from you know where, swollen tonsils, no fever.  Went to the dr.  Swabbed for strep and the flu.  Came back negative.  Said it was viral.  No drugs for that.   Get to wait it out.

Ribs hurt from coughing.  Head feels like a water balloon.  Nose raw from blowing.  Can't taste anything.  Been through 2 boxes of Kleenix.

Darn it.

I need warmer weather.

DogsWin7

Prayers TB!  Feel better!

It just started pouring down rain here.:(

Lions84

Weather turning back to normal for winter in TX.

gatecrasher

Snow possible Tues eve/Wed AM.
Looking at possible accumulation N and W of a Ft Smith/Greers Ferry/Harrisburg line, as well as the Ouachita Mountains (that's me).

1-4" is the preliminary forecast at the moment.

Model runs have gone back and forth with this and likely will again on the next series of runs.

Brian G

You shouldn't be talking about weather.
