Driskel had several issues at Florida. . mainly staying healthy. . but also several different O-coordinators . .and each of them trying to fit a square peg (Driskel) into a round hole (Florida's offense) . . they recruited the #1 QB in the country and then put him in a 2 back ground oriented offense. . Musschamp or however you spell his name was a defensive minded coach and refused to open it up.   Driskel is a spread QB.   if he stays healthy he should put up some big numbers in Tech's offense.

Dixon scored on runs of 63 and 14 yards and hauled in an acrobatic 23-yard scoring pass from quarterback Jeff Driskel, moving him up to second in the NCAA for most games with three or more touchdowns. He also climbed in the NCAA record books to sixth in career overall touchdowns (68) and 10th in career rushing touchdowns (58). There were scouts for 4 NFL teams at Louisiana Tech game tonight. Wonder what they thought about Kenneth Dixon? 192 total yards and 3 TDs

From a small school perspective KD may be a once in a generation talent, but he's shown a 2A player can do well at the next level. 

Him choosing a college I'm particularly fond of has made watching him over the last three plus years all the more enjoyable for me.

Here's hoping for a continued productive season, no injuries, no quarter system grade drama and a chance for him to continue to show his talent at the next level.

His coach at Strong was a Louisiana Tech grad and promoted his school IIRC.

I think the only concern Dixon might have regarding the NFL is how he tests out at the combine.

He commited early and stuck with it even when Arkansas offered "after" KD's Sr season. . he stuck with the school that got on him first and believed in him first. . its called character

He was one of the best friends I ever had.    I never got to using facebook.    When we were at Strong administration told the staff not to keep facebook pages because they didn't want students interacting with us.     Of course several faculty members did anyway but I've always been more of a discussion board person than a social media one.
