Got away with a penalty on the fourth down play, player never looked back for the ball and threw his hands up and stood there. Lucky!
welcome back iceman...

It was a good no call In my opinion. He never turned back but never touched the receiver. Correct me of I'm wrong but that is legal in high school football. Not so much for college and pro.

Star City was up 28-7 and roiling into halftime. Just came out dead much like we did against Lonoke. On another note we pulled it out. I believe Booneville will surprise some folks this year. Pretty good football team, and they never gave up.

Star City could be the top contender this year. It will be a shoot out with warren.

You being semi-humble is so weird.

un-natural...but I'm sensing a 2-week throwback period for weeks 4 and 5.

Don't see it happening in week 4, unless Monticello recruits a new team.

I honestly don't know.  I'm interested to see us finally play somebody in 4A this next week so I judge to see just how good we actually are.  Tough to find out when your playing the world beaters of the state plus everybody we have is injured now thanks to the past two weeks.

Quite a ballgame. Both teams can be very proud.

The call-non call at the end was just part of it. You can't turn the ball over 3 times against a good team and expect to win.

As I expected our Bearcats never gave up though down three scores. A great battle all the way to the end.

I tip my hat to Star City and say "well done" and wish them good luck.

Booneville will learn from their mistakes and is ready to take on the 4-4A. Heads should be held high.

GO CATS GO!

I think you missed my point, but that's ok.

+1
The way Booneville came out in the 2nd half running it down our throats, I just knew we were in for a ball game.

bearcat1983

Good job of the Bearcats coming back from a 28-7 game to only lose by 6. I see some hope in these Bearcats !
