shotgunbilly3215

its not my favorite, but The Longest Yard had a pretty cool soundtrack.

Depends on your interests.  For techno, pick any one of the Matrix soundtracks; for something with an eclectic style, Gone in 60 Seconds is pretty good.  And country, it's hard to beat Pure Country.  And yes, Rocky was a good soundtrack - well, Rocky III was good - the song from Rocky IV was atrocious.

Come on people the top soundtrack is the Space Jam

-Painted Fan-

Forrest Gump, Heavy Metal, The Wedding Singer (vol. 1 & 2)

Most Quentin Tarantino movies have great soundtracks.

I think that both of the Wayne's World movie had a pretty good soundtrack.  Joe Dirt had a pretty good one too.  I also agree that Rock Star and Detroit Rock City had good soundtracks.  If there are any Van Halen fans, The Wildlife had a soundtrack that Eddie Van Halen wrote and performed.  He also wrote a few songs for Twister (the movie).

sportchicmhs20

Rememeber the Titans is the BEST sports movie soundtrack of all time.  but  the longest yard is pretty similar to it and I like it most b/c it has CCR on it.

Forrest Gump has to be number 1. For number 2, I would have to go with Top Gun.

I can't believe no one has said it yet.  One of my favorite movie soundtracks is "Last Action Hero".  I don't like all rock, especially not that new crap, but this soundtrack is cool.  Another couple of favorites are: Hustle and Flow, Choices 1 and 2, and I'm Bout It.

hsu_05

I can't believe no one has stated one that I think is one of the most obvious...Saturday Night Fever.  Granted, most people younger than me (and my age, for that matter - I'm 24) probably aren't that into disco music or the BeeGees, but somebody's got to agree with me.

Speaking of which, it is on right now if any of you like the movie.  It's on Encore Action, channel 343 on Dish Network.

There's nothing quite like a nice love ballad on an arm wrestling movie soundtrack.
