West Side at Concord

Another chapter of the one of the greatest rivalries in Class 1A starts tomorrow night at Cornett Coliseum. Concord girls are riding a six-game winning streak but West Side has hung with teams like Quitman and Pangburn and will be hungry for a win. Concord boys are 4-0 since the return of Brock. West Side has been playing better, with their post players giving Pangburn fits and had a lead against them before Pangburn went on a big run.

Thoughts?

Don't count out wsgf girls. I'm gonna say that Auriemma's 3-piece suit may intimidate Crommett.

I say Brock has another 20+ and dunks it on West Side and they win by at least 15 tonight and I say for the girls that Davis runs the show and Concord pulls away in the end of the third and wins by 12.

Look like corncob turned out to be a good girls coach after all. To those of you that have seen them a few times is he running some of the stuff as scrotchner or has he implemented the patented C4 method with the Sr. Girls.

He has coached girls already early in his career so that isn't unchartered waters for him.
