Well.....BP is not an option now.  They are apparently wating for JLS's 10 month contract to expire.

SouthpawSensation

It was reported that Danny Nutt wants to interview for it.

C'mon man, just dealing with the Nutt House is enough...  ::)

Busman

Former offensive coordinator there.  Didn't know his health was back enough so that he could take on that burden.

Lions84

The return of the Nutts maybe Houston will come along to be his head cheerleader and OC.

A lot of coaches interested in coming to TECH, 152 applicants were accepted.  Including some of the coaches mentioned here, Todd Cooley - Danny Nutt.  Mullins had a large nominating committee on the job and they have narrowed it down to a handful.

Bo Atterberry - Texas A&M Kingsville
David Brown - Missouri Univ Science & Technology
Raymond Monica - Kutztown Univ Pennsylvania

That's good.  Hopefully a hire will be made soon.

Admit loved Don Sevier...as AD, he was a good one.

Oh yes - Mullins would like to make the hire, by end of year.

PS - there is a Lear Jet (leased by Rangers Organization) flying into Russellville tomorrow.  Reckon I should follow them - see where they go?   8)

I'm excited to see how the new coach performs.  It's been too long since we've been where we belong, at the top.

Well, that video taught us that it sure wasn't the fault of the facilities that the program has been poor over the past few years.  Everything is the best in Division II.  :-\

You know him Bait?  He's getting started as an assistant wide receiver coach.. Also there's a guy named David Price over here.

Edit:  Thanks for the below post Pioneer, thought the name sounded familiar.  He's also listed as director of high school relations or something.

The_Pioneer

Former Razorback player.  Will unfortunately be forever known for making the bonehead play that probably cost us the SEC Championship.

The Defensive Coaches - coached at other schools, but I noticed these connections.

Defensive Cooridinator Scott Symons
Lindenwood University (St. Charles, Mo.) & Harding

Symons coached under Malzahn 2012 ASU.
In 2009 as Harding Cornerbacks Coach, Symons coached senior defensive back Josh Jones to All-America honors and a spot in the Cactus Bowl All-Star Game.

Josh Jones - Assistant Football Coach (Cornerbacks)
Jones played the 2009 season at Harding University, where he led the Bisons with 94 tackles, eight interceptions, and 11 pass breakups en route to being named a consensus All-America

Raleigh Jackson - Assistant Football Coach (Linebackers/Video Coordinator)
Education - The Citadel (Charleston, S.C.), Bachelor of Arts, 2007
Prior to joining The Citadel staff, Jackson served three years at Missouri Southern State University

These coaches all come from strong defensive teams.  BTW Josh Jones signed the Corner Backs from Pine Bluff.  TECH signed a lot of Texas kids, from the metro area, Mesquite, Dallas, Denton, Arlington,...  Might be a connection to the RB coach?
