Just heard on the news (KHBS 40/29) that UCA is considering moving back down to DII.  Seriously.  Wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it myself.  Sounded like some people think there is too much emphasis being put on athletics and not enough on academics.  I imagine somebody's just upset because the coaches are making more money than the teachers/professors!

That's the culture around here though.  Just look at the SEC (minus Vanderbilt).  People should just accept that football takes precedence over academics in the south and move along.
