If the score was a touchdown, A has option to take half distance on the try or the 15 yards on kickoff.

Live ball foul. Roughing the holder on FG attempt (attempt was good)
In that case they could either take the score or the penalty with an untimed down.

Not what happened. Scoring team took the score and officiating crew marked off 15 on kickoff to start 2nd half.
