Bill Blankenship, just wins another 6a Oklahoma title. This time leading the owasso rams over his former team Tulsa union , 21-14, played at his former college stadium, Tulsa University.

First time since 1995 that a team
not named Union or Jenks is the large school state champion in Oklahoma.
This is coach Blankenship's 4th state title in a row as a coach.
2 at union
Time off ,
College coaching and a conference USA title and bowl win
1 at Fayetteville last year
And now 1 at Owasso.
I believe this is his 6th state title as a head coach to go along with I think is 5 runner-ups.
I have friends at both Union and Jenks. I saw the incredible stat last night about the first time someone has won other than Jenks or Union. I was not surprised at all it was Owasso under Blankenship. Incredible job by him and his team.

Not only Fayettteville, but Bentonville West will open its season at Owasso.
