Valley 84-79 final. Good game plan by Valley to not give up the drive. Osceola shoots 23% for game & 10-32 from line.

Actually that's not true. ECS is Region 2, and considering they finish first that would put them on the same side as the 1 seed from Region 1. The 1 seed from Region 3 and 4 are on the same side. If you are referring to Flippin losing tonight as something strange, I guarantee you they tried to win they game.
Never said anyone was trying to lose I was referring to to the #1 seeds RiverCrest and Flippin losing in there district finals, I thought boyh teams would win... 8) 8)

That's the reason they didn't play their all state point guard.
What's the reason?    Don't speak about what you don't know!!

I will speak about what I want.  In case you didn't know he didn't play!!  Also in case you didn't know this is an OPINION board for everyone not just for you!!
I guess your right, all idiots should have their opinion, even if they are stupid.    Yeah I know he did not play.   First game he has probably ever missed for injury.   And when he went down against Melbourne the other night, it was just like the other 1000 times that he has been knocked down and hammered over the past few years EXCEPT this time he did not get up so quick like he usually does.   He has never been one to fake an inury and it was obvious that night he was hurt.   Could he have played last night?  maybe a little bit...   Would Flippin have won with him playing on an injury?  maybe....    But it was determined that he needed time to heal.     The implication from ISU7 that "strange things happened" was implying that a decision was made to lose a game to avoid Osceola.   That was not the case, the players that played for Flippin tried their best to win that game....   Then you tried to support that ISU7 theory by STATING that the PG did not play so Flippin could lose and get a supposedly easier path.   My point was that he did not play because he was hurt and Flippin needs him to be healthy going forward.   So your statement (which was stated as a matter of FACT), might have been an OPINION, but with all due respect... you don't know what the &*#^ you are talking about and your opinion is stupid...
Hey sorry you took my statement wrong like I said I was referring to The #1 seeds Colts and Bobcats losing their district finals. Now maybe you know something I dont know, besides i can careless if Flippin wins are lose, that's not gone put money in my pockets. Good Luck to the Bobcats speedy recovery to yall allstate pg, im sure he will be ready Friday..lol 8)

Are you sure about that 23% tally? That doesn't seem possible without Osceola taking over 100 shots.

They would have had to....69 points from the field would mean at the very least they hit 23 3's....

Perhaps it was the most frenetic pace in basketball history. Something that would make Nolan want to slow it down.

I stand by my statement. Your Knowledgeable enough to know that losing those two bigs was huge to this team. The Noles will rebound, they always do.

Regardless of final score, big step for Osceola's girls program. Long way too go but going in the right direction.
Congrats to Coach Moon what he has done for Osceola girls is remarkable & should be applauded.

Day 1 thoughts, games went about as expected.Valleys girls started out a little sluggish, possibly because of playing district finals the night before. Flippin's girls hung tough with Rivercrest, but Lady Colts studs are young & probably a year away from making a couple of deep state runs. Valleys boys had a good game plan & made Noles beat them from outside, got a little dead legged at end. I figure this also from playing a hard game the night before. Osceola makes ANY shots the first 3 1/2 quarters & could been a totally different result, but good game plan by Valley. Lions werent at the top of their game, posssible let down from hi of district. They did frustrate Melbourne with their quickness & just steadily wore them down. Good luck to teams tomorrow night, hope to see some great hoops.

I am looking forward to heading to Manila tonight.  Should be some good games today.  Corning against Mt. View Girls, Rivercrest and Marshall boys, Bergman and Hoxie girls and Flippin/Corning boys.  So far the tournament has went chalk.  Valley Springs had close one on the boys side, I was proud of the  Flippin girls staying really close with Rivercrest.  Proud for Coach Hughes and the Lady Bobcats.  I don't know if we will see any upsets tonight in the two three match ups.

Good luck to all the teams.

Crest won 64-59 over Marshall
Great. game by both squads Crest had balance scoring tonight with a big game by #20. H Malone to lead the team in scoring. Three other Colts finished in double figures along with Malone.  S /O to Marshall. Bobcats Jr #5. and Sr #10 those young men shot lights out, they reminded me of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.  Colts will take on Valley Springs in the first boys regional s semifinals game  tomorrow evening at 5:30pm
