Anyone have more info on the Jonesboro and Valley View  boys game? I am surprised to see such a lopsided score.

Valley View was completely outmatched. VV recently had 2 more kids quit the team, rumor has it their is a lot of infighting amongst the upper classmen and freshmen players. Coach Teat used several new starters for this game. I believe VV only had 3 shots on the goal the whole match. Jonesboro was up 5-0 at the half and used mostly subs the 2nd half. VV really struggled against Marion also.

It's been four years since Bentonville girls suffered their last conference loss.  Siloam beat them at Bentonville on 4-11-14.  Regulation score was 1-1 with Siloam winning on KFTM.

According to Max Preps that was Bentonville's 3rd conf loss in 6 years. For Springdale prior to the 5 conference wins last season they had only won 1 conference game from 2011-2016. That is a upset of massive proportions.

I still think about that game from time to time. Making that BV player retake her kick that had been saved made me feel like I was doing injustice to the game. I am glad SS ended up winning that.

I sincerely hope that Bville doesn't think it's been six years since their last conference loss when in fact that's not remotely true.

Solid win for the Springdale girls.  I know they've struggled for a few years.  They deserve some success.

Bville lost to Siloam in 2014.  Lost to Rogers Heritage in 2015.  Lost to Fayetteville in 2016.

Siloam played 7A West for two years. The conference was called 6A/7A West.  That was the last year of that cycle.
