Hector likely has the 4-2A wrapped up, so this game decides the 2 seed for the 4-2A pending a shocker from any of the other 4-2A wonder teams. This game isn't until October 16th, but there isn't much bulletin board material for Hackett until then since we play WYC, Decatur and an extremely down UCA team leading up until Mountainburg... Hackett won this match up last year at home 39-9. I've heard people say that Burg is better this year, I'll have to see it to believe it though. I'll say Hackett 28 burg 14 in this one...

My thing is what I said before. Mountainburg is obviously better than last year, but so are Hackett and Hector in which Mountainburg lost by 30 plus to both of them. Those 3 teams being better is the reason I think 3 teams from the 4-2A can win a playoff game this year which would be great for the conference. I actually think the 3 seed from the 4-2A can win at home vs. the 3 seed from the 8-2A this year since the 8-2A teams outside of Rison and JC just don't seem like usual version of themselves. That all being said I don't see how Mountainburg closes 30 point gaps on teams that are better versions as well.

My prediction for this game.

Hacketts defense is no slouch. Fast pace aggressive defense that has given opponents fits this season. I simply just don't see Burg being able to move the ball on us. They couldn't do it last year, and our defense is better this year then it was last.

well back at work have free time now lol. wasn't able to make the game Friday but sounds like the Burg not the same team without #42 so I really don't know what to say about this Friday's game. I still believe in the team and with homefield we may be able to play a good game against the hornets, but you sure would hate to see a blowout at homecoming. Hope #42 has time to recover this week and the injury is not year long one man can make a difference Mr. Gaines proved that!

May not be full speed. Coach might have just thought it was a waste to get him even more injured if he already was. Give him a week to recover for this weeks game.
