Tough to say if they'll reschedule it. Arkansas only has to host one more indoor meet in two weeks so they might.

Looks like it will be fine in Fayetteville.  Getting back home tonight may be a problem, if you have to head south.

Found this on the state indoor meet:
5A-7A Indoor state meet has been delayed to begin at 2:00 on Saturday, Feb. 8th. We will start with the 4x800 relay followed by the 60HH, 60Dash, 1600 run, 400 Dash, 800 Run, 200 Dash, 3200 Run, 4x400 Relay. It will be a rolling schedule (no break after the 4x800 or the sprints). The meet has to be completed by 8:00 so some heats may be combined to a larger field in the distance events.

Looks to me by looking at the updated start lists that the 5A-7A state indoor meet is just basically the 7A West indoor state meet.

I do know Crossett Boys took 2 nd in 4A and Kelsey Herman was MVP in the girls but I don't know what place the girls got. Herman is absolutely the best athlete to come out of Crossett High in the last 20 years. She just might be one of the best ever. She signed a LOI with the Razorbacks Wednesday.


Did find out girls took 4th. Only 4 girls went and they took 4th. Herman is just that dominant.

Crossett's Antoine Gulley MVP for the boys. He scored.or.helped score 39 pts. Kelsey scored 40.

Crossett's Kelsey Herman broke 4 state records in yesterdays meet in high jump,long jump,60 yard dash and 60 hurdles.

My son Cody, from DeWitt, had a good last indoor meet finishing 2nd in the 1600M & winning the 3200M. Proud of all the hard work he's been putting in & it's paying off.

The 5A-7A meet turned out more like a 7A/6A-West Invitational. Only a handful of participants were there outside that conference.
Four records were broken, including two by Har-Ber's Payton Stumbaugh in the 60 hurdles and 200. LR Catholic's Brendan Taylor took the boys 1,600, while Bentonville's Jacob Shiohira broke the 3,200 indoor state record.
