Mt Ida, COOOLD weather, 3 hour bus ride, It won't be good for Brinkley. Mt Ida will hit you in the mouth every snap, very physical football team. Mt Ida is low on numbers although I'm sure they have moved some 9th graders up who can contribute. They will thrive in the cold weather, at home in front of a fired up crowd.

We knew someone would get on here and say they were "mouthy"...the kids came in to MI and dealt with being called "N" word and all, they never let it get to them. The Brinkley Tiger Team prayed for the kid that got hurt. That's the type of kids that play at Brinkley, that's the the way the coaches coach them. They take no opportunity for granted, and know how it is to lose a teammate seeing how they have 5 kids out since week 3-4. Continuing to pray.

Momma and Pick, y'all had to see it...Greene broke 88 yard run for a score and stiff-armed the Lowery kid (#5) for 35 yards before throwing him 5 yards out of bounds to run for the touchdown.

I was told he had a cut eye. Fractured eye socket and a concussion. He will heal 100% and be fine.
