Well, Conway Christian better enjoy things for now....
They host Junction City in the 3rd rd.
Season ends that night with a loud thud.

man, what a reward.

They will have to beat Des Arc in the 2nd round  in order for that to happen. That will not be an easy task.

jsky14

I bet they will enjoy their district title for quite a while.

Hmmm....on the road at CC or DA-Eagles at home.....either one will be a good game, but I know what I'm wishing for.

oh how sweet it would be if CC knocked them out of the Race... oh how sweet  it would be

baseballgod91

with a comment coming from you, not sure if you are being a smart butt, or actually giving CC credit.  However I do not think anyone will beat JC this year, but it would be so nice for someone to slay the giant.

Hawgpilot

CC will not beat JC, on any field!

back to 5-2a..... ;D

Is conway Christian in the 5-2A ?

yes. and no disrespect to them as they are some fine people, but they will get destroyed by JC if they get past the super flying eagles.

gatecrasher

I've seen CC play.

They're not gonna beat Junction City. No way in hades.

looks like baseballgoober91 hasn't left engine country in a while.

As a matter of fact, none of the 5's playoff teams would stay within five touchdowns of the Dragons.

i can't argue this

lionfan59

Neither can I. But like I said back to the 5-2a.  :)

lionfan59

just because its late in the day and I don't want to let this thread die.  Poyen is out watering the field, just in case the rain is not enough.  They need help slowing down the big plays that England is going to show them Thursday.    :)

Bigditchlion

I was thinking the same thing 59

rayzorbackfan

The only watering that will be going on at the Poyen field will be from them England boys on the sidelines when them Indians start putting the War Hammer to them.

True Fan

If it keeps raining, I'm not sure if them flatlanders buses will be able to make it across the lease to the field. The Poyen buses run them Mud Grapplers.

Not doubt, that visitor sideline will be about calf deep once you get behind the get back line.

So I need to wear my tall Muck boots.

Yea, and the track around the field is a single lane. You meet one of them big girls in turn three and you'll be buried up like you hit the runaway truck lane.

lionfan59

True. That just about made fall out my chair. Too funny

Does the 5 get four or five teams in the playoffs this year?

Looked it up. Yep, we get five.

Conway Christian
Poyen
England
Magnet Cove
Bigelow

will all make the playoffs. Not necessarily in that order.  ;D

Missed the 3/4. Not bad for a casual fan.  ;D

lionfan59

Good luck the rest of the 5-2A teams.  Bring home a win to the conference tonight

gatecrasher

5-2A done for the playoffs.

My alma mater is still playing lol. We ran over Greenwood last night. Got Benton in the semis next week.
Looking for a 5th state title in the last 6 yrs.

I live in HS though and my kids go to CMS, so hence my interest in the 2A-5.
