Should be a great game. Robinson goes on the road to face the Hillbillies.
Man, the Sens just can't escape the 4A-4, can they?

Na, but they'll gladly take it.
Looks like Booneville was the best team that Ozark has played this year, and they lost pretty handily to them.
It was 21-14 in the 4Q before a comedy of errors led to 21 straight points in about 90 seconds.
We Hillbillies will find out next week how much better we've gotten since.
Should be Robinson in a landslide, UNLESS Ozark pulls a miracle like Bauxite.
Ozark is a very physical football team with decent speed as well. They don't make a lot of mistakes. It'll take a great effort for the Senators to come out with a W.

That's what I heard about Warren, but Arkadelphia changed everyone's mind.

How many Ozarkians believe you have a chance in this game???
Just curious.... I have no dog in this fight... just a proud Badassger keeping watch over the flock...
I probably mentioned this every year when we were in the 4-4A but I think Ozark is one of the most underrated places to play in the state. The purple everywhere, the hillbilly blasting the shotgun after scores, always a packed house. Killer bar-b-q too.

Moved as in moved away, or moved as in moved up to varsity? Surely, your not suggesting putting them in the game against Rob... if you do that.... you will destroy those kids confidence before they get started.

Moved up. I'm a neutral observer in this one, but I've seen the kid play. If you've never seen a freshman move up and make a difference come playoff time, then you've not watched much HS football.

Sure I have.... Robinson has a 6'5 300+ freshman that has several offers including Alabama.... he's a different makers....
Robinson also has at least 13 kid with multiple offers, two with BCS. We've played them, and their one the best team In the state, no matter what classification. Everybody in the state knows who they are but you. So tell me agin how these 9th graders going to compete with those men, and they are men. Enlighten me I'm all ears.... some say they recruit better than Chad Morris. I don't know that to be true, but that's what they say. Can't wait to see them at WMS... we will be ready!!!
With Warren out of the picture, Robinson may actually get a trophy. Let's see if Eskola gets the monkey off his back.

One of our freshmen made his first varsity start last week...and he is comparable in size to who you mention.
He's not the only big guy in his class, either.
The higher classes still have plenty to offer, too, so don't worry about us.
E'Marion Harris isn't a normal freshman though. He just turned 14 on September 8 and already has a full scholarship from Alabama among others. He's 6'5, 305 and can windmill dunk a basketball. His dad Elliot Harris Sr played for the Hogs '01-'04. His brother Eilliot Jr is a Sr starting Left Tackle for us and he's got a bunch of D-1 offers as well.

I can tell by your grammar and spelling you are obviously very intelligent. So I will not try to match your wit. But with all your knowledge can you come up with a reason with all these D1 kids and superior talent Robinson still hasn't won a state championship in recent years? Poor coaching? Lack of discipline? Or do they worry more about stars and individual rankings down there in Pulaski county?

I've read it many times on this board that the general consensus is that Robinson's coaching isn't up to par. That we should have multiple rings with all the talent we've had.

Yea, I was thinking last year, not TWO years ago. Both years they had multiple d1 athletes. It's the surrounding cast that they don't have that limits them.
I think in previous years Robinson's D-1 talent came from the skill positions. Guys like TJ Hammonds, Koilan Jackson, Myles Fells etc. This year the top D-1 talent is at the line of scrimmage. Joe T's D-Line is ELITE. All four guys have offers from major schools.

I know we're nitpicking here but when I say "offers" I know Matt Howard is "receiving interest" from Ole Miss and Arkansas State, Elliot Harris is going to be high D-1 when it's all said and done although I don't know all the schools on his radar. Wofford has listed offer from Army but I know he has at least 5 others.
Right now the only school they're interested in is Ozark.

People care about titles? I would rather have coaches help my son with his future and getting into college than win a state championship that people will forget about in 10 years. Especially for some of the kids that may have grown up in a home where they were told they weren't good enough, and then to have coaches step in and say, you are good enough. If my son has a coach like that and doesn't win a state title, I would be happy. Winning state isn't everything and people need to start realizing that. These kids are the future of America and if they see from us that a high school championship is so important and fussing about coaches who don't win one, then the future is doomed

Maybe you should stick to soccer then, or perhaps move to Waldron! I don't know of any kid getting a full ride soccer scholarship in Arkansas. I did hear that there are some pretty good football coaches in the Waldron/Paris area! Any kid is good enough to play there! :)

Or maybe you could read the forums and see that I actually know what I'm talking about in football, because I grew up around it and played it even in college. And just for your fun, Chris Holmes from Conway got a full ride to UCA for soccer, and there is even a semi pro team in Little Rock that gets the chance to play against pro teams. :)

Ahhhhhhh.....some. If you can play they will find you. This may have been more prevalent back before the internet with vhs tapes. Now there are coaches that boast and make it seam like they are the reason the kids get exposure but bottom line is there are no kids that are sleepers, hidden talent that college coaches don't know about. Combines are primarily money makers like recruiting services. Lots of vultures out there.

I agree with you there but I do know many coaches that have taken players to a combine like Sparq and the player did really well and then performed during the season. I also know coaches that go out of their way to make sure a player can make it to a college visit. Social Media now has become, how many posts can I make about getting recruited unfortunately, but that doesn't mean coaches don't help the player

The good news is that it should clear Ozark in time for kickoff.
Safe travels, folks.
Does Ozark play on grass or turf? If it's grass and it rains we're going to lose for sure.

Hey snowflake, don't blame coaches and fans if your high school has kids that a freaking teacher, a preacher, or his own parents never told the kid he was good enough. And if you are talking about being good enough at athletics, then I guarantee that kid has plenty of people telling him he's good enough. So, if your community has to rely on coaches pumping up kids for their future, then you and everyone in that community is a waste of breathing space. Doesn't matter where your imagination played college ball or how much you THINK you know about football. Bottom line..kids who win state championships remember them a lot longer than 10 years, a community filled with people who rely on coaches to raise their kids is a pathetic community, and if we have to rely on coaches to instill a sense of purpose in our kids then we are doomed.
Good post! +1

State Ring or college.... we have a ring, but I would trade it for a free 4 year degree any day...
Robinson does a great job of getting their kids exposure, it's a program to envy!!!
If I lived in LR, my kid would be there....... Go Badgers
Let's go Ozark!!!
Pulling for the Ozark-Americans, get em Billies!

You might wanna wait till you're out of school and have a job and insurance before you start considering having children. Just a suggestion.
I forgot, if you message me I would be more than happy to walk you through the quote feature.

Robinson...... put these backwoods hillbillies in their place!!!!!! I heard they had freaking freshmen on the field. 7-4A is stout!!?
Joe T Robinson-7
Ozark-0
Mekel Kentle 1 yard keeper
7:25 1st Quarter
Joe T Robinson-14
Ozark-0
Tackett to James 16 yards
2:15 1st Quarter
Two three and outs for Ozark, two long TD drives for Robinson.
End of the first, Ozark threatening with a nice drive here.
Bad snap and Ozark turns it over on downs at the 36.
Robinson takes the ball and Kentle runs it all the way to the 5 yard line on two carries. Three wildcat plays later TD Senators!
Joe T Robinson-21
Ozark-0
Mekel Kentle 1 yard keeper
7:42 2nd Quarter
Let's go Robinson!!
Joe T Robinson-28
Ozark-0
Tackett to James 26 yards
4:28 2nd Quarter
Senator D is just mauling them.
2:55 left and Ozark kicks a 60 yard punt down to the 26. Senators get the ball to start the second half.
Tackett throws a pick and Ozark has it in Senator territory. First real mistake for Robinson.
Zach Williams with a big sack on 4th down. Senators take over. 1:32 left in the half.
Joe T Robinson-35
Ozark-0
Tackett to James 12 yards
0:02 2nd Quarter
Mercy Rule
HALFTIME
Other than the one interception, Greyson Tackett and the Senators played about as good a 1st half as they could. 5/6 drives ended in touchdowns and Joe T did not punt. Ozark hasn't been able to do too much on the Senator D.
2nd team offense in, 3 and out, first punt for the Senators.
Backup defense in as well
Joe T Robinson-35
Ozark-8
Dietz to Sanders 19 yards
3:38 3rd Quarter
I don't know if pulling all the starters so early was a good idea.
Joe T Robinson-35
Ozark-16
Dietz to Burns 48 yards
0:00 3rd Quarter
End of the 3rd
Joe T Robinson-38
Ozark-16
Trent Eskola 29 yard FG
4:50 4th Quarter
Three playoff games, three mercy rule victories for the Senators.
Joe T Robinson-38
Ozark-16
FINAL
379 yards for the Senators, 155 for Ozark. Good job defensively.
This should give us a few teaching moments heading into next year.
Still a bright future ahead for the Hillbillies in the years to come.
We just need to make sure and take it.

How many starters coming back for Ozark?
I expect around 7 or 8 to return on both sides.
Our QB graduates, but we have up to two potential successors to choose from.

Moved up. I'm a neutral observer in this one, but I've seen the kid play. If you've never seen a freshman move up and make a difference come playoff time, then you've not watched much HS football.
You just wouldn't listen..... so there🖐🏿

That's not a conversation.... that's ridiculous!!!! He said freshmen were going to help them beat Robinson... you might want to let those lil' 9th graders testicles drop before playing grown men. I know the air is a lil' thin up there, but have a lil common since... Go Badgers!!!!
