Amazing Game!!! Next to last years "Battle of the Revine", this was one of the best games that I have witnessed.

Both teams are very talented, but Frazier is definitely a DIFFERENCE MAKER. Cannot imagine many QB's in D-II that are his equal.

Rex Nelson, who is always hopeful but will tell things the way he sees them, believes it's possible that the two best Division II QBs this year may be playing across the street from one another this year*.  If so, hopefully their teams stay undefeated for three more games before said players and their squads meet for their final regular season game.

*Even if they aren't, none of us will likely live long enough to again see a former USA Today OPOY and a (likely) three-time Hill (DII Heisman) Award nominee in the same class for two separate colleges in the same town.

That is truly incredible.

For those who haven't seen it yet, here's video of OBU's final drive and part of the OT, with Rex Nelson's commentary:

Frazier makes Ouachita a potential DII championship ballteam.

I don't think there is a Dillard's in Arkadelphia.

Read today that the Tigers are 8-0 on the year and Frazier is a man among boys out there.

We will see who brings home the bacon when he duels Rogers.

Comparative scores is of course dicey at the best of times, but OBU beat Harding by 3 in 1 OT @ Searcy, and the next week Harding beat Henderson @ Arkadelphia by 4 on a Harding TD with 00:17 left in the game.  Oughta be another classic in 2 weeks.  Assuming both teams win this week, OBU will have an undefeated season and outright conference title on the line, whereas a Reddie win would force a perfect 3-way tie for the title between OBU, HSU, and Harding (assuming the Bison win out).  Playoff positioning would also be on the line.  An undefeated OBU would be in the top 10 of D2 and surely host for at least the first round or two, whereas a split title would probably still see one, maybe two, of the co-champs go to the playoffs, but more likely on the road.

Oh by the way, this year's 8-0 start is OBU's best in a hundred years.  In 1914 when they last started 8-0, they beat the likes of ASU, the Razorbacks, and Ole Miss.

OBU is absolutely dismantling UAM right now.  44-0 at halftime.  They're putting on a clinic.

So what you're saying is OBU has sucked for quite a while?

Lionheart88

Some in the intervening years, but right this minute they're riding the longest streak of consecutive winning seasons (7) of any college in the state.  Haven't had a losing season since '07.  They've also won at least a share of two conference titles in that time (a win this saturday mean an outright title this year, but they will share it even with a loss).
