The Valley View vs. Paragould game was a tense nail biter. Paragould is a very strong team and they were not letting anything get to their floor the first set. It went to five sets last night, but in the end Valley View had some great plays in set 5 and got lucky with a couple of Paragould service errors.

Valley Springs and Bergman are both sitting undefeated in the 3A-1E and will face off tomorrow night at Bergman High School for the lead in the conference at the halfway point.

Booneville over West Fork in 3 (25-7 25-23 25-23) moves the Lady Cats to 7-2, 2-0. Losses to Mena and Ft Lake at Mena Tourney.

3A West:

In conference play Paris beat Union in 3, Lavaca beat WF in 4 and Mansfield beat Mulberry in 3.

Booneville beat Waldron in 3 in a non-conference match. The Lady Cats and Paris are the only teams without a conference loss and they play next Thursday at Paris.

The Marion Lady Patriots traveled to Southaven MS to compete in the Southaven Invitational Tournament (9/12/15).
Marion won 6 games to win the championship. This was Marion's 5th year in a row to win the tournament.
