I believe the job is still open but, they have interviewed several people. I know for sure that a Ozark person came for an interview. I don't believe he was a coach already at Ozark but, maybe a person teaching wanting a coaching job, but, not sure.

If you are referring to the updates at the top of the page, the Monticello job is a junior high job. It is also Sr boys/Sr. Girls soccer duties. As far as I know there is no opening at the senior high boys level for basketball.

Also, Augusta sr. boys has an opening.

Any others anybody has heard of?

Mount Ida/Boys as far as i know since the one we had is going to the classroom and not coaching anymore.

I believe there is a job opening for Hector Sr. girls. If I'm incorrect on that pleast let me know the situation. I have heard that their old coach has military duty he is fulfilling and that it might be temporary? Not sure.

Didn't see it. I did see one for Lincoln Consolidated High School for Sr. High Girls basketball coach.

Never mind, it was on the bulletin board, not the education department website.

Word is that a couple of parents whose kids didn't get post season awards and who give big dollars to the school decided they wanted her out. Guess they will buy a coach that will make the decisions based on who gives him/her and/or the school the most money.

Batesville SR.High Girls (if you can take the heat from the parents

) Lost a good coach to neighboring school across town. Someone needs to get a handle on the parents or this position will be open evey year.
