Farmington averaged 6 wins a year the previous 2 decades to that. I don't see that much of a difference there. Just because your athletic department posts a bunch of fancy stuff on social media doesn't make it light years better. Is it better? Certainly it is... But let's not act like they're on the door steps of competing for state titles either. If social media decided football results you would think Colorado made the college football playoffs last year

I'm with you to an extent, but you throw out the miracle 2011 semi run where they had the move ins from Fayetteville (big TE that went to Pitt State), what does that draw the average down to?

Farmington's achilles heel will always be small town thinking. They've been 5A for the better part of a decade and run things like they are playing Berryville and Green Forest on the weekly basis. They think people should want to live there because it's NWA but they fail to realize quality coaches aren't going there because the money doesn't even come close to matching up.

Yep he is a great coach and proved it at Arkadelphia. The Badgers just aren't quite at that level once he left either. But the Farmington hype is also not warranted. I've said this before in other threads. Great and good coaches are just that. They aren't miracle workers and Farmington is a basketball and baseball school before football. A coach can only do so much when you have stud athletes who don't want to strap on the pads. Some facts are below

totally agree, examples Greenwood, Mt VE, Bergman, Salem, Star City, Lamar, Farmington, Jonesboro, Marked Tree, Earle to name a few in girls & boys.
