I WAS AT SAU TODAY AN HEARD THAT SAU PLANS TO MAKE THE MOVE TO D-1 IN THE FUTURE, IDK IF THIS IS TRUE, THATS JUST WHAT I WAS TOLD, I WAS ALSO TOLD THEY HAVE PLANS TO BUILD A BASKETBALL ARENA IN THE FUTURE TO

I have a feeling that all you've heard is a rumor. I mean, you're talking major expansion to the football stadium, as well as the basketball gymnasium, among other things. I just don't see that happening unless other Arkansas schools decide to follow suit.

yeah idk, the guy told me that sau was goin to try to moveto d-1 in the future so that could mean 10, 20, 30 years

Looks like part of this rumor may be true. An article in the Banner-News this week mentioned a new 5000 seat arena coming soon.

That would be a help. The Watson Fieldhouse always gave me a cramped feeling, even when there weren't many fans in attendance. Build a better home, and possible a better men's team will come.
