Kelsey Hudson was hired as girls basketball coach at Western Grove. She has coached at Deer the past few years.

Coach Hudson does a great job.  Will be interesting to see how she does at Western Grove.

They are LOADED.  should be a lot of pressure on them not only next year, but for several years after that.  Only lost one player that saw significant minutes from this years runner up team.  The sophomore class went undefeated in Jr. High.  This years JH lost one game. (All 5 starters fouled out at Mtn. Home) now add a quality guard from Western Grove (incoming 10th grader).

My understanding is that it was a mutual understanding that in was in his best interest to give it up?  Don't think he liked it there much.

The Marked Tree girls job will be hard to fill I'm sure but I think any opening within the 2A-3 girls will be hard because everyone will be in the "Rebuilding" phase now! As a Marmaduke fan I did really enjoy the MT girls play and wish them the best in the coaching search! I'm not really sure who will get the honor to coach MT but there is this guy from MT named hunter vick but most call him vick I think he is attending ASU to become a coach! As a Marmaduke fan I don't know him personally but i do hear alot about him and i have seen him at MT games when we play against them! He seems like a great person if he doesnt apply at MT it will be a shock to me but whoever gets him i hear will be getting a great person and guy that has passion for girls basketball!
