I wanted to send out a public thank you to the Coaches and Trainers at Baptist Prep Academy last night.  In the ladies game two players chasing a lose ball along the sideline collided and the young lady from Pottsville went to the floor rather hard.  The play happened closer to the Lady Eagle's bench and the Baptist Prep Trainers, Coaches, and Administrators were there to help her in a flash.  In fact two ladies from the Eagle's bench were out to help almost quicker than I could say on the broadcast that Pottsville had a player on the floor hurt.  I believe the young lady is ok today, sore but not seriously hurt.  It was much easier for me to talk about the injury on the radio being able to talk about how much and how quickly Baptist Prep got help going.  Your sportsmanship will not soon be forgotten by this broadcaster.

Was at game last night, and I will say it was a barn burner both teams played like they want it bad. It was a good game to watch if you are a fan, the refs let them play and  got a little rough a time or two. I though  Ozark was going to pull it out when they went up by 4 late in the game, but the twin sisters from Pottsville both   made big plays in the last minutes, one made a three the other made some free throws and then with  Ozark down by 3 and clock running out they called a charging foul when Lacey was trying to get ball pasted half court. I could have been called either way, get we  always second guess the calls. Not sure Pottsville player I think it was #24 was in position, in time it happen so quick.
Still a lot of basketball to be played, hope the teams that made it to next round can go to Prairie Grove make the  4-4A conference look good as they are not give us much of a chance of winning against their girls teams and the only problem that might have on boys side would be with Baptist Prep.
I guess we should just stay at home and not even show up, since they have already got the wins penciled in on their schedule, oh well I guess we shall see.

Might I ask where you get your Woe is me attitude? Don't think anyone from the 1-4A has penciled in anything nor I have seen any predictions of domination. I would say that the 1-4A has the slight advantage on the girls side, but the 4-4A probably has the slight edge on the boys. Looking for 6 of first the 8 games to be good ones.
