man that is tough to take. hopefully she gets fixed up and gets that redshirt.

was a good game.  Cannon is doing great right now and the right fielder is crushing the ball. they still look a little lax at times on D but everything looks like it will come together as the season progresses.

Jc continues to roll. 7-0 over defending 1a state champs Taylor.  Hoof is on fire right now. The Lady dragons as a whole are hitting the ball well. A couple of girls are down right now but they will get back in the groove soon. Keep it up girls.

From the EDNT:

Lady Dragons slip past Bearden 10-9

The Junction City Lady Dragons earned a dramatic 10-9 road victory over Bearden Thursday.  With the win, Junction City improved to 15-5 overall and 8-0 against 7-2A East competition.
Going into the seventh inning, Junction City trailed Bearden 9-7. However, the Lady Dragons amassed three runs to take a 10-9 lead into the bottom half of the inning.
Soon after, things only became more dramatic as Bearden had the bases loaded with no outs recorded. However, two pop-ups and a ball hit right to Lady Dragon pitcher Dallis Bentley ended both the Lady Bears' threat and the game as Junction City held on for a 1-run victory.

Holy wow - I just looked up Junction City.  Location J-4 on the Arkansas State Hwy Map.  Y'all must be both barefoot and cajun?  Would you rather play on UA's field or in a more central location?  Seems to be all state championships should be near Little Rock or maybe rotated.  How many students go to Junction City?

WHITEchicken

I think most kids would love it if all the state championship games were in Fayetteville. Junction travels really well so Fville or little rock I don't think it matters much to them. Yeah Jc is both barefoot and Cajun. half the town is razorbacks the other half tigers. not sure about the students size. the Louisiana kids cant go there anymore unless something changes before next school year. The agreement was cancelled by LA.

More than a few of these down here:

It was easier to get a football crowd to Little Rock or basketball crowd to Hot Springs than a baseball crowd or softball crowd to Fayetteville.

Little over 600 student K-12.
