gonna be crazy with their being two defending state champs in the same division this next year lol Gotta have Booneville as the FAVORITE pretty much dominated 4a cept for warren state champs. Charleston is solid in the 2 spot. McGhee Smack and Prescott outta make some noise. still have Harding and some other schools in the mix. I think the level of play will be higher in 3a this next year.

Pastureboy21

Smackover is going to be scary next year. Hands down.
Prescott will be improved but I don't see them top 5....

Not even in jr high lol :o

Prescott folks need to check your pride. How can y'all say conference champs when you start the season off 0-1 every year to a AA school and I know you play Hope so I will say 0-2. I don't see winning over smackover Mcgehee or fordyce? Much less us. We got Smackover next year. How good are they?

DeeGee

Smackover is pretty tough. We played them in playoffs. We beat em but they played tough and have some great talent.

We are 8-4 vs Gurdon and hope since 2008. So I'm not sure what you are talking about. I don't think you do either. I don't know who y'all are. And since we don't play Fordyce, McGehee, or Smackover next year since they aren't in our conference it is virtually impossible to beat them...get a clue bro  ::)

adaptedtigerfan

Hahahaha. @ KOJACK   Some people just jack them jaws to hear their brain rattle!!

HOOPSTER

I'm sorry, noticed y'all play in conference with glen rose and episcopal. Didn't fair to well with them n the past either I don't think.

Research more and post less chump... Your so relevant that no one knows where you are even from. That's ok though, you know Pat Garrett tried to become famous by capturing Billy the Kid. That didnt work out too well for him either lol. ;D

Prescott beat Espiscol 52 to 16 in 2012 playoffs and they beat us  in the playoffs last year. Prescott beat Glen Rose 45 to 13 in 2009 playoffs and they beat us in overtime in the regular season in 2011 and Prescott came back the next year and went undefeated in district and won the district championship the last game of the regular season at Glen Rose 19 to 7. The way I see it Prescott has done just fine against those schools.

adaptedtigerfan

SO SO glad crapsket ball is over now we can get back to business!!!

KOJACK

Hootie

McGehee should have a solid team next year. A lot of young talent ready to step up and make some noise.

Pastureboy21

1. Booneville
2. Charleston
3. HA
4. Smackover
5. Glen Rose
6. ECS
7. Prescott
8. Hoxie
9. Lamar
10. Mcghee

Beavers will make another run as will the Cobras

adaptedtigerfan

Pastureboy if u think its because of ESC beating Chuck Saturday you are VERY mistaken....   I don't give 2 flips about bball @ Charleston....   I'm proud that they done as well as they did....  But for this guy to cheer for Chuck bball is not happening.....   Football is a different story.

Pastureboy21

I hear you loud and clear tigerfan, football is my favorite too, just playin around

adaptedtigerfan

I didn't go to Charleston..  My son goes to Charleston and I'm so thankful he doesn't play bball....

thabeast428

Heard Smackover didn't really lose anybody and they wasn't bad last yr so could be a top team

what cobras will make a run in 3a?

WildcatGrandpa13

I wouldn't sleep on ECS. Although they lose their quarterback and best defensive linemen, they will be a playoff team next year. Richie Marsh is too good of a coach to stoop back into the "dark ages" of ECS football. Can't wait for Prescott vs. ECS next year!

I predict Cobras will not be a factor in 3A-5 race next Fall. Is something up with Burton?

And yeah pretty sure the Cobras will be real silent in the 3-A lol.

why would he? What does he have to gain going anywhere other than where he is? He is on every school in the county's radar. And will win another state championship this year. I just don't see it personally.

jr17

Kids nowadays think that going to a 7A school will get them more exposure... even if they are leaving an elite program in the state that wins state championships every year. When in reality it doesn't do anything to help more than what he already has. Besides, nowadays recruiting is about the PLAYER going to the PROGRAMS to get noticed. (Camps, Film, Etc.) Not the other way around.
