Scores I see lead me to believe Scranton is loaded and a lot better than a #5

ICC should be ranked over Viola; Even though they lost in the finals at the Rebel Rumble in Highland this past weekend, they played very well and came back from loosing to SS Bville earlier to beat them to make it to the finals.

Midland is good!  But not so sure about the team to beat at a state comment,  ICC, Cossatot, Viola, Taylor and Southside Bee Branch will also be in the hunt.  Midland and Southside have split this year. Midland won 2-1 and Southside won 4-0 both teams from the same conference. Districts and regions should be good tourney's.

I watched the Calico Rock/Viola game. Calico tied the ball game in the 7 inning (6 to 6) then Viola came up with last bat and hit a 3 run Homerun (walkoff). It was a good game!!!Congrads to both teams for a hard fought game.

This is the second time Ouachita has beaten 6th ranked Cossatot River (21-4 the first time) and they're undefeated in conference.  Ouachita's only loss this year was to AAA Benton Harmony Grove, 13-8, and that was without their starting pitcher.

They don't look to be loaded. They have no real offense to speak ofand pitching and defense is not great either. I haven't seen any other 1A other then Cossatot River so dont know how they stack up in 1A.

In case you haven't been in the local loop. Calico Rock loses 2-3 seniors on the Softball team as of last week due to a Senior Prank. Not saying that it would have made a difference in the outcome but 2 runs is pretty close for the caliber they were missing.

Oh you must be referring to the calico crazy 8? I was told that calico should be stronger without them. How did calico and viola turn out today? Heard it was a close one last time.

I understood that when the top two teams in a conference spit the two games they went by runs allowed. If that is the case then Southside is the winner of the conference because they won the first game 4-0 and lost the second 2-3. That gives them a 3 run advantage. So midland would be second in conference.
