Name the schools that let their players choose walk up songs when they come to the plate. The players seem to really like it. But not all coaches agree.

fastlane

i know beebe does. we wont being this year cause the players didnt get their stuff in but the coaches made it an option if wanted. i think its a great idea. just a way to get the kid pumped i guess.

The only schools I've played against that let their players choose thier walk up music were PA and Camden Fairview.

HG was doing it until the fans started complaining... now all we do is play music between innings and during warm-ups.

babyboy_09

im pretty sure nettleton does it

Boss Hogg 08

we walkin it out in the Smack

HeadBussa08

prescott is startin it this year

football_freak777

Walk-up songs are unnecessary(sp) and just a waste of money. Play some Bon Jovi in between innings but no walk-up songs please for any division

JA Fair does it. They've had the same songs for 3 years now though. :D

Hearing it over and over is not fine, no matter the song.

football_freak777

lol than just talk to the announcer i'm sure they would be fine with changing the music if you get enough people to agree with you.

I graduated last year. It's not that big of a deal anymore.

football_freak777

yeah it isn't a big deal but it gives you something to listen to instead of the announcer talking about some stupid restraunt down the street

There was someone on the razorback team that when they came to bat it would go "Hey y'all, watch this." from Chicks Dig it by Chris Cagle.

I always thought that was cool.

Sportsfan2008

How did the walk up songs get started in the first place? What is the purpose?

badgrbaceballdad

IMO, this is a great "Walk up song"  the first 30 to 35 seconds are pretty great when used for that!

I know the Bulls used it and the Nebraska Cornhuskers used in their "Tunnel walk"

mikey

Forrest City did it when I was there
