Pocahontas beat the trumann girls last night 67 to 33

Pocahontas is very good, I believe Harrisbug will be very tough also this year.
we host Trumann Friday 12/11 , We lost a lot from last year, every night in conference is going to be a battle for us !!
Hats off to Westside who played really well last night at our place, Sr Haley Morgan hit two clutch free throws with .1 sec left down 41-42 for the Brookland win. Sr Bailey Lovrien led all scores with 17pts. Soph Ally Loflin added 9pts.

Pocahontas is very good, I believe Harrisbug will be very tough also this year.

Olfan Pocahontas has really good size and rebounds very well. They also play about 8 players that can all play. Very similar in size to Valley View.....definitely the two biggest teams Bay has played. Better shoot it good because second shots are hard to come by against Poky.

I believe Pokey and Harrisburg are the top 2 teams in our conference right now , pokey is very well coached and has really good size and solid guards. It will be a tough game for us. Lovrien will have to have a great night for us to have a chance. We have Harrisburg 12/15 another tough team who has very quick guards and can score.
Congrats on Bays sr Girls season so far!! Great Job!!!
Plan on Going to Bay tomorrow night to watch our 4-6 girls play the younger Lady Yellowjackets!! Lol

Every game in conference is huge, should be a good game vs Trumann Friday night.
Sounds like your Jr girls and Pokey had a good game that went in OT. The jr girls game should be a good one also.

I definetely agree with that Hatchet!!
Neither side was very happy with his calls!!
it was a pretty ugly game all the way around.
Brookland missed a lot of lay ups and short jumpers last night.
Trumann played hard and hit a few treys late in the 3rd qtr.
To pull within 25-30
Injuries have really hurt Brookland this year

Cave City surprised visiting Brookland at home, and Trumann had a big win vs Harrisburg. I believe CC and Trumann are playing well right now , and the key is to peak around Districts!!!  Every game from here out is huge!!

Brookland overcame a sizzling first half shooting performance by a very good Lady Hornets team.
Down 31-17 at half the Lady Bearcats came out focused and really stepped up their Defensive intensity and cut it to 43-36 at the end of the 3rd. Bailey Lovrien and Haley Morgan worked the boards hard. Loflin got a Steal from Devries  and a layup. Bailey was money from the free throw line late in the game!! The Lady Bearcats were led by
