Mont has a great Coach running the show.  8 4A just a rough place to be during down years.  I remember when Owls were in this conf during early 2000's you would likely have 1-4 seeds win their 1st playoff game.

looking back at the 2014 season in 8-4A

...Warren well is Warren, their Jr high player will play a big role in Warren future..
...Monticello, Jr high crew has far more talent than the senior present talent...Monticello is at least a year way from getting into the top four of class 4A.
....Hamburg will be content for that fourth or fifth seed this year.
...Star City's future talent pools lacking.... they have a huge crew but skills players are few...
....Dewitt tough players but really no playmakers
....Dumas.....who knows, they had Crossett beat, but could not contain someone mouth on the sideline.
.... Dollarway....who knows what talent they will return until the season actually starts...
Now, Crossett, we lost a lot of talent on both sides of the line, especially from the interior line...yes we lost some skill players, but we played a lot of 10th graders as Dbacks and running backs, thus we hoping that some underclassmen will step up on the line...if not, our QB best will need to brush up on his zone reads......I hoping that our QB will not need to run as much, for we have the WR....
