This is the first time in the 5 or 6 years I've done this that I've dreaded voting. Not because I don't enjoy parity or anything, but ranking these teams after the first few is going to be so tough. Draw a name out of a hat.
1. Little Rock Christian - This team is beating everyone like they are playing a JV squad.
2. Pulaski Academy - I think LRC and them have deserved 1A and 1B, but I don't do that.
3. Little Rock McClellan - Open and no one did anything to pass them.
4. Harrison - Same as McClellan
5. Texarkana - Same as McClellan
6. Maumelle - Beating teams like they are supposed to.
7. Wynne - Honestly I don't think that loss to WM is that bad. I think WM is a 6A title contender.
8. Nettleton - Well they were open.
9. Blytheville - Lost to Marion similar to Wynne. I guess?
10. Little Rock Parkview - Best losses puts them here. That's where I'm at here.
Just missed for me: Watson Chapel, Hot Springs Lakeside

4. Harrison - very impressive so far.
5. LR McClellan - no change
6. Maumelle- they keep rolling
7. Morrilton- big game this week
8. Nettleton- undefeated deserves a ranking
9. Watson Chapel - I'm struggling with the last picks but WC is a good team
10. Wynne - I'm not convinced but surely they are in the top 3 in the East.

I've got LRC beating PA this year by 4 TD's when they play in a few weeks. The LRC defense is for real & fast and offense is just as impressive. They will be psyched for this game and will be over by half.
That is funny!! Who has LRC played yet that is any good??

::) I remember the last time LRC came in undeated at 10-0. to play PA The game was over by halftime but it wasn't because LRC was winning

Definitely not the same team. That team had a paper defense. This season the Warriors have a defense to match their offense.
I wouldn't call them a paper defense, as I recall they stuffed some very good offensive teams that year. That team had size and skill. PA just found a way to win

That team went 12-1 and had a very salty defense. That LRCA team mercy ruled 10 of 13 opponents including Fountain Lake, Wynne, Harrison, Sylvan Hills, and White Hall who were all playoff teams that season. That team got thier rear handed to them by the best team in the state in any classification that night. That PA team would have won 7A that year. That was the night of the monsoon if any cares to remember. I have never been that cold an wet in my life. No excuses that team just got beat.

That team was 12-0 when PA drummed them. Get the story straight if you are going to be a historian.

They'll get tested Friday night by an ever improving WC team that gave the Pine Bluff Zebra's fits. WC has had 2 weeks to prepare for LRCA as they were off last Friday night. Head Coach Dutton put the whole team and all of his assistant coaches on a bus last Friday and took them to watch LRCA play.
