Coach Marc Jones of Benton to Van Buren?

Word is up in NW AR that Coach Jones at Benton is main man on the list for the VB job.

I have known Marc Jones since 1981 as a Teammate, Friend, and Coach.  He might like to be closer to his family in Fayetteville.  Marc will change that program in time ( if left alone )

Marc is a solid football coach

The boll weevils still might retire his #56 ( if buck will bring it back)

He might get it, but my guess is they hire internal to get someone that will stay with it.

They have gone outside a couple times and those guys didn't stay.  It's a tough job and I bet they hire someone in their system.

But Jones could do the job too I think.

Marc Jones makes 80,000 a year according to the ADG and that makes him the most overpaid coach in the state at 2-8 last year. $40,000 per victory.
