$3.09 here in NE Kentucky.
Just got back from a lonnnng 2 week road trip/beach vacation, 3500+ miles more or less. We saw prices all over the place....from $2.62 to $3.29!

We had googled Flying J's along our proposed route and were lucky enough to stop there or at Pilot's.
They were consistently cheaper.

We/I traveled from KY to NC to south Texas then back thru New Orleans to Gainesville, to Tampa/St. Pete, Florida, back to Gainesville, then on to NC, and finally back to Kentucky.

I went to Dallas over the weekend.  Thursday in Russellville, it was 2.77, 2.99 at Durant OK, 2.87 in Dallas, and 3.09 in Van Buren. All along US 75/69 in Okla it was in excess of 3.00.  I think 3.17 was the highest I saw

Texarkana_Piggie

Yea I'm in Arlington right now, filled up in Alma Thursday night at $3.07. Next to the hotel here its $2.77. That's Crazy.

It has been hanging at $3.09 here in NE Kentucky since I returned from vacation. Over the last few days, however, they have been dropping the price by a penny...a penny here, a penny there. For instance, early this morning it was $3.03 at Super Quik. A few yard sales, etc., later, it was down to $3.02.
Every little bit helps but why can't they just lower it a whole dime like they do when they raise it? All at once?

You haven't figured out how they operate. They raise it a dime, everybody babes, they drop it 9 cents over the course of a month...and they repeat that.

I filled my car up in Clarksville for $2.84.  No,...wait, that's not right.  I paid $2.84 a gallon for gas that was pumped by an employee and he actually washed my windshield!  I swear to God!  I couldn't believe it. Right there in Downtown Clarksville, on Main Street a couple of block from the Square.  They had a sign out that said $2.84...Cash Only.  Guy actuallly came out and pumped my gas and cleaned the window.  I'm still in shock.

Gas was $2.95 in Greenwood when I got home.

Chief_Osceola™

You must have went to Nowotny's Exxon, if that's still what it's called.  Full service with a smile.  Good folks over there.

Nope, wasn't Nowotny's.  It was on down across the street from Sexton's Furniture, I think.  Nowotny's are good folks, but they ain't cheap.

Quite Frankly

$2.95 at the Wal-Mart pumps in Rogers on Tuesday.

Hacks me that it makes it seem cheap.

I think at this point people hardly complain at anything below $3 and that is sad.

COWGIRLUPAR

$1.77 in Sheridan on Wednesday A.M.

Went to town twice today- first time I passed the PDQ next to Wally World it was $2.70.  Three hours later it was $2.67.  Glad I waited till the second trip to fill up!  If it is that price at that particluar PDQ, then it more than likely is cheaper at Exit 81 at Flying J or Hob Nob

no wonder Murphy give back so much!  It's 2.45 in Marion today.  It was 2.39 last night at one station.

I guess when you are making 30 cents a gallon more, you can give back a couple million over 20 years.
