The best and worst of times

This time of year is bittersweet.  We still have two games left to determine the champion this year.  But the season is winding down and 28 teams have played their last game.

It has been a great year.  We had many games with unexpected results and that always creates great excitement and interest.  And we've had many new posters this year which always adds to the diversity and quality of the discussion.

I'm excited about the conclusion of the season but I hate that it's almost over.

I had one of my 5th graders come up to me after tonight's game and say "guess I won't see you until camp" Dawned on me then this was the last drive home.
