So, what did we learnin Week 4?

--Booneville, Dardy, and Ozark have put themselves heads-and-shoulders above the rest of the conference, outscoring their fellow playoff contenders by a combined 143-41. Two of these three will jockey for title positioning at the Cabin this week.
--Of the three middle teams, Pottsville is in the best position to wedge themselves back in the title hunt. However, they'll need to put the past two weeks behind them if they intend to pull it off.
--Over/Under on combined wins between Subi and WF in Weeks 5-10: 0.5.

And now, some notes from Week 4's scoring:

--Victor accuracy 80%, Margin accuracy 6.3%
--Biggest shocker was WF @ Subi, with half the picks going to each team.
--Booneville was the only unanimous pick, a huge statement of confidence considering the upset the year prior.
--Props to bilboswaggins for this week's high score, having picked every victor, nailing Booneville's margin, and getting close to Subi's.

Once again, picks will close at noon tomorrow.

Get them in while you can!

Booneville (10) @ Ozark
Rivalries can sometimes produce strange effects on teams over the course of a season. Since they got shut out by the Bearcats last year, the Hillbillies' scoring average jumped from 13.7 PPG in the ten games previous to 35 PPG in the eleven games after, including a 37.5 PPG trend in the first four games this season. Even so, facing a group of players that has never lost to you can become quite the mental hurdle. Look for Booneville to try and take advantage of the hosts' negative turnover margin.

Pottsville @ Dardanelle (17)
So much for the Apaches turning the corner. It doesn't matter how respectable your offense is; you won't be winning many games if you allow at least 40 points every week. If Pottsville wants to salvage their season, they best do it starting with the Lizards.

Subiaco @ Dover (35)
How about that? The Trojans actually won a second game this season! Too bad their prospects for a third are dim, least of all against a Pirate side looking to lash out after getting marooned in a sea of red last week.

Waldron (21) @ West Fork
How stifled was the Bulldog offense last week? Logan Tull gained more yards returning a kickoff for a TD than what his offense produced all game. Luckily, the undermanned Tigers should prove a quick respite.
