I think Mt. Ida, JC, Earle or Hazen have the best chance.

I'd have Foreman as the favorite...
Mt Ida, Earle/Hazen, Junction City in the second tier

Then Salem/Mnt Burg/Conway Christian in the third tier behind those but ahead of the rest of 2a?

Conway Christian had a chance to win at Mt Ida last year. Is CC better this year?

I think this is pretty solid....

It will be easier to answer this after this coming Friday

dawgpound

Hampton is flying under the radar but they will be there in the end

Hampton is solid and with a few breaks they could be a semifinal team

couch-coach06

I think Conway Christian is dangerous just because they are one of the only 2a teams that can truely sling it around

Pick_DA_EAGLES

The picture is a lot broader than just 4 teams.

Well that's grand and all but most good teams are equipped too stop the run is what I'm getting at we rarely see a QB who can spin it

How broad is it?

At this point in the season I would say, Probably at least 8, with a couple dark horses.

Foreman
Mount ida
Hazen
Earle
J.c.
Conway Christian
Mountainburg
Winner on the 3
Will know more after this week.

jsw6f0

Foreman, JC, Mt Ida, CC.  In that order is what I will go with.

The winner of the 6 is on that for sure.

I don't see any of those teams from 3 and 4 being a factor I would add Hampton to the list though (I think Des Arc would win 3 or 4)

I included Burg just because the have been solid, and are due for one of those "runs" that some teams get. The winner of the 3, same scenario.

Hampton and Des Arc were my dark horses.

Not much to disagree with here.  I'll add Fordyce as a dark horse although we will know more about them this week.  Regardless of how they do against JC, I still see their athleticism creating problems for other top teams.

That was one of the games I was referring to when I said we would know more after this week.

I may be wrong, but I really see atleast 10 that can make a serious run

This is pretty accurate.

I think Hazen and Earle are both ahead of CC
