Earle Bulldog are # 1

I think it's gonna come down to who has best defense . Foreman has depth and more team speed than the hornets had . So I'm going with foreman by 10  . Batey will roll. I don't think Earle has faced speed like this . Unless I'm wrong but I don't think I am .
Title: Re: Foreman @ Earle

And Foreman has not faced a team with the speed Earle has either. You must have forgot the 2017 State 4x100 meter relay team is from Earle. Speed on Speed. But speed can't block, tackle, catch or throw.  It all comes down to execution. As for as depth Earle on plays 4 both ways but that will change this Friday. Everyone will get a chance to see Bohannon could be the no. 1 olb recruit in the nation.

I realize one thing for sure. You're at the house and we are still playing. You would pick against Earle if we were playing Parkin Friday and you knew they didn't have a team

honestly I seen a better qb at ark Arkadelphia last night which is still a 10 grader . Everyone has their opinions look at Ricky towns everyone was hyped on him . What happen  exactly everyone has opinion I just think he's a great athlete . And no doubt Earle has a team they are still in it it's obvious . It don't take a rocket scientist to know that . You just sound dumb posting what you do it's repetitive . Like I said foreman by 14 now . And beefy is a better coach . No doubt. Bohannon wont have time to scramble around like he does every game . You will see . Foreman is too athletically sound and make great halftime adjustments . If they are still in game at halftime they will win. Another thing the only advantage you have is aging at home with your 28 fans 5 dogs sorry a?? Convenience store and your one parking lot dope smoker. Lol book it foreman by 14 I don't care if college game day is there or Gus . 7aa west will be state champion

The smarter team wins in this one.  Both teams play on speed and I don't know how big Earle is but foreman has some decent sized boys.  Close game, but I think Foreman keeps rolling on this hot streak and gets to War Memorial

That's the problem with some of you posters, it's a PUBLIC forum, therefore ANYONE can voice their OPINIONS. If you want to discuss things in private, you can text each other or deal with other people's opinions. Just because someone says something different than you, doesn't mean someone is wrong all the time.

Apparently Pit Bull wasn't given his rights to this "That's the problem with some of you posters, it's a PUBLIC forum, therefore ANYONE can voice their OPINIONS." That's why you probably had him sentenced to life in Pit Bull Prison... Now you're out here accusing everyone else that says anything about fake 43 Sports of being the reincarnated Pit Bull! Typical lawyer, can not be honest about anything. I didn't have you sentenced to anything. People who think they have power, but really don't, like you, don't bother me at in the least.

AHD? Does that stand for "A HEAD RICHARD?"

Oh, and there is a difference between an opinion and a personal verbal attack on someone. If 42 sports an the 2A Heisman were so irrelevant and fake, WHY ARE YOU SO BUT HURT ABOUT Bohannon not winning it? For a lawyer you really suck at arugments and presenting a case. You must be one of them public defenders whose client's all wind up taking plea bargains and doing time.

Ok, ok, back on topic.

This game  could be very interesting. Most definitely will be worth the price of admission just to see if Bohannon can keep his team focused on the big picture. If they can get to the title game in football, they could do something rare in 2A sports, win titles in basketball and football in the same calendar year and possibly win both in one school year as their basketball team has plenty of pieces to repeat.

I'm not hurt just calling it like it is on that country 43 Sports. Personally I just think 43 Sports and the 2A Heisman is fake because Bohanon is being considered for awards from far more credible source that actually have a organized process and a real Sports Banquet with major sponsors. I haven't made any personal attacks on anyone but I do see now why this site is going down the toilet, see more people need to read history and understand how great things fall into turmoil, confusion and eventually it's demise. You accuse me of "Power Tripping" when that's exactly what guys like you do on here all the time. Fearlessfriday Elite is some coup d'état crap to take away the freedoms of average poster and suppress freedom of thought and post and you are apart of this Pick, Fearlessfriday Oppression, because you're the one but hurt when anyone speaks the truth about 43 Sports, they've screwed up the Fake 2A Heisman 2 Years in a row, everyone has witnessed this, not just Pit Bull, everyone. So it proves how delusional you are Pick because you think the everyone that disagrees with 43 Sports is Pit Bull. But this is why I "Champ74" can only address them as 43 Sports because they could never live up to the great individual that wore the number 42 (Jackie Robinson) and broke all the racial barriers in professional sports with the methodology and way that they have determined that fake award! Now I'm done with this because I know the coup d'état Fearlessfriday Elite of free thought and post are probably going to place me right next to Pit but in Champ Prison for this...

Foreman possibly could roll. I will be humble and give them a fighting chance but they have not seen a team and I do mean team like what is coming to Earle the gators play beyond anything in the 3. No disrespect to your great team but please come and watch Foreman is a different animal. Earle is in the same predicament when it comes to football

Foreman will be the best team Earle has faced all season. Two good teams with speed and size on both sides of the ball. It's going to come down to who wants it the most.

Excuse me, could I please get another glass of that maroon Kool-Aid because I'm loving it. I saying the Gators take a close one. Earle has been allowing some points since playoff time started. Don't think they have played near the offense that Foreman will put on the field. Gonna be a game that's for sure.
as long as we can put up more than we give up is all that matters. If we give up 50 I'm fine as long as we can put up 51

Probably come down to which team plays the cleanest game. If one of the teams can get a couple turnovers could make the difference. Earle does give up some points but they are always confident that they can drive down and get them right back.

I'll be there Friday to watch this one. Hope it's a good one

Foreman is a different animal bohannon will not be able to run wild like he has other games . Foreman gives up a few points in the first half but half time it's lock down d.  Trust me batey will run wild . Especially if they put him at running back

With the excitement of Friday night finally wearing off perhaps I can make a less emotional more logical prediction on this game. Since week one Earle has been one of my favorites to go all the way. Honestly other than the fact that they have a super star athlete who has his choice of which D-1 school he wants to attend the only other information I can gather on them is from this site. I would like to break away for a minute and say if everything I hear about this young man's character is true he is as much of an outstanding person as he is player and Kudos to him and his family for that. My line of thinking has been if Dixon and Thomas was able to take their team to the finals why should Bohanon not do the same thing?
Foreman is fresh off from a blow out over traditionally rich Danville. I think it would be safe to say other than the people from Foreman the majority of the state had written us off after Danville beat Rison. I felt as though we would win, but never imagined it would be to the extent that it was. To hold a team to six points in the quarterfinals is a feat that is very seldom accomplished.
As much talk as there has been about both teams offense I think the defense is going to be where it is won or lost. In two games the Bulldogs have given up 57 points. Which goes to show good teams can score on them. In three games the Gators have allowed 24. This stat alone shows that the Gators should be the better team defensively. Both teams have an abundance of speed and both will be facing the fastest team they have played all year.
Truth is both teams have one outstanding athlete.  It is just my opinion, but I think Foreman puts the next best 10 on the field.  No disrespect to the Bulldogs intended. You guys have had a great season and if the Gators stumble just once the game could be yours.

I've said numerous times Ida is a bad match up for us.... U get in a 2 tight set and knock our lineman off the ball 2 yards and run it down our throat[? I've admitted that time and time again.. but against spread teams our D has feasted ... Also if both of our teams are fortunate enough too meet in the finals I think we will see a different game

Look film crew it's well documented Ida beat Foreman 36-7. We didn't play well, our coach got tossed second quarter and we got 13 flags to 2 or 3. I never said that Foreman's defense isn't good. I said that Mount Ida scored 36 on them. That there is what some call a fact. We lack team speed compared to Foreman, Earl and CHG..that there is what some call a fact. I'm not sure where I have been wrong yet. I think your teams defense is rated right where it needs to be. It's currently rated as one of the best in the state.. So, how can it be under rated?

Earle has not seen anything like foreman . I really don't think my ida would match up well with Earle but foreman I do. Just because they are speedy and run a different offense . Both teams are tough. Mt ida killed us . Foreman put the ball on the ground. That being said batey wasnt in the whole game against us he got hurt . And I have watched them the last couple of weeks and it's honestly not the same foreman team I'm telling you it's not . And by no means do I like foreman other than they are from the 7. But they are legit. They had some salty 9th graders and that could had helped them a lot more but that defense is in point.

Not sure what Earle's tfl is, but I bet its pretty high.  This is gonna be a good game, no doubt.  Foreman will not be able to get to the edge on Earle like they have on most of teams they played, but I also don't see them completely shutting #5 down either.  Dude is scary fast!!

This will be a great High school football game.  Loads of talented players for both teams.  Simply say this BATEY VS BOHANNON.  What has been seen so far is not what you will see Friday night.  I look for Bohannon to mirror Batey on defense.  This will be the deciding factor of this game.  Will Bohannon be able to contain Batey on defense?  Only time will tell.
Extra stuff:
17 from Earle is right in there with Batey and Bohannon when it comes to athleticism.  He is a game breaker.
How Healthy is 21 and 24 from Earle?  They both took some tough shots against Mineral.
Foreman's Oline is better.
Foreman can kick extra points and field goals.
As a team Earle is slightly more athletic.
Foreman will need some air game.  When Earle played Cross County they had 11 players with in 4 yards of the scrimmage line.
The most dangerous play for Earle is when there is a breakdown, BO knows what to do and can do it.
Long Trip for the Gators.

My Pick  Foreman in OT by a field goal.  Will be an outstanding game between two outstanding programs.

Foreman is starting to understand the big game and I think the more big games they play in the more dangerous these young men will get. Foreman has athletes all over the field and fly to the ball. As far as physicality, once you play the gators then you will realize contact is not a concern. They seek it out.

Earle has a 6-6 wing player we name KD as Kevin Durant and he can flat out stroke it. 2 6-4 post players and a 6-3 combo guard. Why do you think Murray went ahead and started playing? Just in case Bohannon wasn't playing. Bench is deep and talented. But with Bohannon Earle is almost unbeatable. He usually doesn't show up until mid January anyway. Earle is young and loaded on the hardwood. But our focus is on trying to beat a stout foreman football team

Tried to type reefer but it went to refer first this cell phone does no justice when driving but you knew what I mean lol

No, we don't "knew" what you mean in this continuous conundrum that you've created in an attempt to insult The E's educational levels, which in fact has resulted in an oxymoron for the Mineral Springs educational system because you're an idiot that misspells words and blames it on "texting and driving." Now unless "refer" is some form of a new double entendre that no one else has heard about, I'm going to need you to become a better example to the youth of Mineral Springs by first, stop texting and driving, a Fearlessfriday post is not as important as someone's life. Second, please stop smoking verbs like "refer" that are meant to "mention, make reference to, allude to, touch on, speak of/about, talk of/about, write about, comment on, deal with, point out, call attention to." Okay 👌🏾?

42 sports is kinda a wanna be sports page in Arkansas but y'all are coming up. If your gonna cover sports you should cover all classifications, not just 2,3, and 4A sports. What about 5,6 and 7a sports? And y'all really should come up with another name for yalls "heisman" award. Be unique and get a different name for it. The name heisman is copy righted and y'all could probably get in trouble for using it. Just my opinion. Hope y'all keep growing and getting better I enjoy watching the live games and replays on yalls Facebook page

Man, you don't find it kind of strange with all the other 2A teams out there that you've only been concerned about Earle since the Cross County game. At first I was like maybe it's because our teams might meet so I kinda get it but still it's weird but I get it, after your team got demolished in the 1st Round I was thinking it was over but then you said that Mineral Springs would beat us, hoped that Salem got the upset and now here you are still wanting us to get beat and all I want to know is what's your problem with the Dog Pound?

We don't make excuses in Earle when we loose. If Foreman comes to Earle and win Friday all we will do is asess what we didn't do well and get better. There are a lot of teams that wish they were Foreman or Earle this Friday. This is Coleman's 3rd Semi Final in the last 5 years and he has laid a foundation and is building on it. We plan on winning Friday and if we don't we will get better and show excellent sportsmanship. Gators coming to the Dog house!!

You lost because you have no discipline and Mt. Ida plays smash mouth football and ran it down your throat.  Probably still have a shoe stuck in your laranax.  Referees didn't cost you the game  your lack of discipline  and not use to winning a big game cost you the game.

I picked foreman to be In Contention this year not mineral at all . Now for driving I'll do as I please . Now for bohannon how am I gonna hate someone that I never met. I do hope he goes to Arkansas no doubt, he's talented. Now for dog house , your atmosphere for a state playoff game sucks . My brother had plenty of spots to park his el Camino and slide out trailer. And he will be sporting Fubu till Earle loses . He also said your mama has a great poker game at her house on fridays that may be why attendance was so low. But anyways go dawgs foreman by 14

I think that same Texarkana station but you my as well put on a lil maroon and come on up to Earle

I work on Fridays...haven't seen a high school games in years otherwise I might have gone to watch it...now the putting on maroon is a bit far fetched...however I am pulling for you guys...I work with some people from Foreman and they come to me looking for scores so I'm glad the game is on the radio...

If Foreman wins they will not beat Earle by 3 scores.

Earle lost to MT by 20 at their place last year, lost to EPC  at home  after that.  It happens every year. No biggie. They beat us during the season but who took home the title. Earle will probably loose 5 or 6 times it happens every year.

We will playing football in Earle Friday night. Your season has been over. No discipline, lack of effort and no big game experience cost you.  Can't perform in big games. Must be very hurtful looking in that trophy case and not seeing a State Title  in any sport. I would say I know how you feel but I don't. Must be an awful feeling to never raise a banner down there.

I am superstitious as well. I wore the same shorts to every game until week seven only swapping my shirt. After that loss, I have not worn those shorts nor the shirt again so I completely understand. I guess with the number of games the 7-2A is playing in having dwindled over the past few weeks, not knowing the opponents that well, and competition and predicting a winner getting harder and harder I have tried to distance myself from my weekly 7-2A predictions. After being asked last week I did tack my predictions on to an existing thread and for entertainment purposes only I will do it again. Before doing so I would like to say all four of these teams have had a great year and my picks could as easily be wrong as they could be right.
Foreman @ Earle – Both teams enter this game with one loss. The Bulldogs stumbled early in week one to class 4-A Helena-West Helena since then they have gone on a ten-game win streak against opponents that have a combined 53 and 67 record out scoring those teams by an average of 42.2 points per game. It is no secret that Earle is blessed with the most dynamic player in class 2-A. Mr. Bohanon's ability to keep plays alive with his legs and then finish them with his arm is the key to the Bulldog's success. Earle's defense has given up an average of 28.5 points per game since the play offs started to two teams that were averaging just 25.8 and 31 points per game. They will be tested this week as they face a Gator offense that is averaging 45 points a contest. As for Earle and Bohanon there is Foreman and Batey. Batey is without doubt the work horse for Foreman's Flexbone offense. With almost 1,700 rushing yards Batey has yet to be stopped. A week seven loss to defending state champion Mount Ida is the only blemish on an otherwise perfect record for the Gators. Foreman's defense ranks second in 2-A ball giving up just under 11 points per game. The key for Foreman to win is for their defensive secondary to be able to cover Earle's talented receivers and for the defensive line to not allow Bohanon to buy time with his legs. The key for Earle is to play disciplined ball on defense and play assignment ball rather than relying on athletic ability to stop the triple option. If there is a clear advantage I think it would be Foreman's special teams play. This one will no doubt be a good one and if both teams play their best game I see the Gators sneaking out with a 3-point win.

Mount Ida @. Camden Harmony Grove- The Groovey Grovers look to avenge last year's semi-finals loss to Mount Ida. After a rough 0-3 start against class 3-A Smackover, Prescott, and Glen Rose the Hornets have went on to run through arguably the toughest conference in class 2-A. The Hornet faithful have had this year marked on their calendar since these seniors were in 3rd grade and rightfully so. CHG has one of the most potent offenses in the state averaging 51 points per game in games played in their classification. If rumors are true one of the player responsible for scoring some of those points may be sitting out this game. When facing a team like Mount Ida you must have all your horses. Having to leave one in the barn is not the position you want to be in. The Lions got their first true challenge last week from Conway Christian before pulling out a six-point win at home. Their incredibly stingy defense (9.6 points per game) will be a good match for the Hornet's offense. If both teams play to their best ability I think the Lions win. In the end I'll take Mount Ida by 7.

AAA didn't suspend the playoffs for that....Lamar got lawyers and courts involved to get the playoffs pushed back

And the AAA kinda has a precedent for this kind of thing....2006 or 2007 Conway girls had a player that was ruled inelgible the day of the state finals(different set of circumstances than here tho), but they were allowed to participate, but that player had to sit out..

If they are postponing a week why not play Mineral and Salem this week?   Mineral is the only team being affected by this other than Earle.  And I assure you we would ant to play.  Let's be fair to all.
Every team they have played has been affected. So yeah let's give a team a day to prepare for a game. Let's re-seed the entire thing then.

It's sucks yeah. But everyone needs to quit trying to get another run

Nobody in the playoffs but Mineral is affected they only played us and Salem.  They are giving Salem another run.

Your telling me that the Coach knew this all along and still let it continue.  1 kid don't cost that team unless it's bohannon. I guess coach gets a slap on the hand for ruining the rest of his teams season.

I believe that this is the second time they've been caught in the last 5 years.  Should be stiffer penalty the second time.

Earle's coach should really be under investigation... not saying he didn't know but it is his job to make sure all his players are eligible. I also wish we was playing this game so if we win the championship their would be nobody saying we got a good draw. Also wanted all the scouts to see Kyren Batey strut his stuff while everyone was there to see GB.

I'm with you slim .. if he knew or not idk but not haveing him on the roster Shure makes it look like he did.   I would be devastated as a player or fan

Yeah I do to. How if you are a coach can you ever look your kids in the eyes and tell them to put it all on the line for you when you did this? My other question is does he keep his job? How could you stay and look those people in the eyes after this?

I did mention to an Earle poster a little while back that this was more than just a few book keeping errors. There was mention of falsified transcripts in the article I read.

Sad situation caused by adults just wanting to win games

They defiantly had to know last week and He still played against salem.   I heard about this last week.  So if the rumors got all the way up to salem then surely they knew it.
