No need for apologies Bleu, you can spin numbers all day long to show what you want them to :D . . . Heck one of the books in my College Business Statistics class was called How to Lie with Statistics. I'm hoping Pick knows I'm jerking his chain about. Can't argue with on field results, well I guess ya can say they all got Lucky haha

The version I always liked was: Figures don't lie but liars can figure.  ;D

But I like Calpreps way of looking at things.  Performance in the AAA bracket can literally a case of luck of the draw.

True, but Brinkley beating Woodlawn, both 4 seeds solidified my argument about the 6, for now. If Hazen beats Rison friday, it will make it even better. I give yall j.c. as the top team without question, but thats it, at least until Friday night about 9:30. Lol

Great example about draw.  Per Calpreps, Rison is an underdog to Hazen.  Rison would be a favorite against either Brinkley or McCrory.
That would only be according to numbers though..people are right, numbers never lie but they don't always tell the whole truth  ;D....the measure of a kids heart and mindset doesn't equal up to numbers though, so good thing everyone still has to show up and perform week in and week out ;D...because according to numbers these teams should have been out.

According to watching a game...Rison SHOULD have been out last week. SHOULD is not to be confused with IS sitting at home lol

According to cal preps numbers, 7 of their top 8 ranked teams are still playing, lone exception is cross county.

FWIW, if there were a Calpreps' selection committee, here's how an eight playoff would look:

1   Junction City    2A Region 8   26.9
8   Bearden   2A Region 8   0.1

4   Des Arc   2A Region 6   8.1
5   Earle    2A Region 3   5.8

2   Hazen    2A Region 6   25.1
7   McCrory    2A Region 6   1.9

3   Rison    2A Region 8   8.3
6   East Poinsett County    2A Region 3   4.9

And here's how they see the real one projecting out:

Des Arc at Junction City   [projection: Junction City 42-14]
Brinkley at Earle [projection: Earle 31-19]

Rison at Hazen   [projection: Hazen 31-17]
Cross County at McCrory   [projection: McCrory 27-22]

Well the 6 has 2 of the final 4 teams for the 2nd year in a row and is guaranteed 1 in the title game, so the worst it will be is another runner-up trophy.
