Lamar

Clarksville         W 44-13
Subiaco             W 42-14
@Perryville       W 54-6
Lavaca               W 39-8
@Mansfield      W 45-13
@Booneville     W  28-21
Charleston        W  28-21
@Danville          W  35-24
Two Rivers        W  48-18
@Paris               W  28-20

Yes I know, very high expectations.  But I feel this year we have the athletes to do It.
How many starting off. linemen do yall have returning from last year?
[/
We will lose one from last year.  He will be replaced with a 6'6 325 man.   The entire offensive line will be seniors this year.
Also senior running back that led the team in rushing a year ago.  Wild card will be how well the new QB can run a new offense.

Coltfan2005

Looks like rivercrest might lose 2 out of 3 non-conf and at least 1 conf game (more likely 2).

Proud Buckaroo

Smackover's 2015 record:

Warren. (W)
Junction. (?)
Gurdon. (W)
Fouke. (W)
Lake Village. (W)
Drew Central. (W)
Fordyce. (W)
CHG. (W)
Mcgehee. (W)
Genoa Central. (W)

I feel like we could possibly go without a loss. But, it's hard to predict two games in one week. Especially with them being big games.

10-0 at most. 8-2 at the worst. Making a run in the playoffs as well. I feel like this could be the year of the Bucks. Other than Preskit. Smackover is returning the most, and rebuilding those most with some high quality Junior kids moving up.

Smackover and Charleston both go 10-0

If that happens 3A will be stacked.... add in Prescott if they go 10-0. 3A would be looking scary if that happens.

I just have a lot of respect for those teams playing the schedules they are..... even 9-1 for any of them will be quite impressive.

Smackover loses one of the week 1 games, Charleston loses at least once this seasons...Prescott might go 10-0...

I'll just make a prediction for all of the 3A-4.
Mansfield 2-8
Danville 3-7
Lavaca 2-8
Paris 5-5
Two Rivers 4-6
Booneville 7-3
Lamar 9-1
Charleston 9-1

-Painted Fan-

Charleston's winning streak is at 29 games dating back to Black Friday 2012 (31-28 loss to State Runner-Up Glen Rose).
Junction City's winning streak is at 40 games dating back to the 1st game of the 2012 season (14-7 loss at Earle).
I think there's 4 games for each team that should be circled on their schedules:
Charleston- Shiloh Christian, Prairie Grove, @ Lamar, @ Booneville
JC- @ Smackover, @ Rison, @ Haynesville,Louisiana, and Bearden.
Now the other 6 games for each team should not be taken lightly, by any means. I just think the 4 I listed have the best possibility of an upset.

Soooo...what I'm hearing about danville being a bit overrated is true?

-Painted Fan-

I don't know about that.
I think 6-4 at best (Dardanelle, Charleston, Booneville, and Lamar).
Paris, Mount Ida, Bigelow are iffy.
Probably still make the playoffs as a 4th or 5th seed.

I have heard Lavaca is not as good as last year and even Mansfield is worse from what people have said from this summers 7 on 7( of course that isn't a true blue indicator). I think Two Rivers has a chance to possibly snag a playoff spot with your QB's athleticism.

I will take a crack at the 1-3A since you did the 4-3A.......

1)West Fork 9-1 (7-0)
2)Mountain View 8-2 (5-2)
3)Cedarville 7-3 (5-2)
4)Greenland 6-4 (4-3)
5)Elkins 4-6 (3-4)
6)Marshall 4-6 (2-5)
7)Green Forest 2-8 (2-5)
8)Yellville Summit 1-9 (0-7)

The change in offense gives them a chance if they stay healthy... they're on my list of games I'm going to watch this year..

That's going to be pretty close. I'd give Danville 4-6 and Charleston 8-2. Lamar at 9-1 is right on. Booneville or Charleston will beat them.

Lavaca will beat Union Christian and should beat Waldron and Elkins.
Mansfield could beat Greenland and Waldron. Both should have competitive games with Two Rivers.

I'll say Charleston goes 10-0. At worst 8-2.
Charleston will go to 40-0, but after that the road gets harder.

Coltfan2005

A lot of it depends on their defense. You can not give up 30 points a game and beat quality teams. This year I worry about Earle, Gosnell, Hoxie, and Manila. And it said "might lose". If Chandler brings the defense around, with the offense they have, it could be an 8-2 season.

I'm going to go out on a huge limb here and say Manila goes 4-6. Hopefully they will win 4 out of 5 against brookland, Truman, Corning, cedar ridge and piggott. They played pretty good last night losing to walnut ridge 21-14 with walnut ridge scoring in the last minute of the game.
