When I was 19, I was lucky enough to spend the month of August in and near Edinburgh. Part of the trip included attending a performance of the Military Tattoo. It was AMAZING!

That brought back memories.

I lived in Dunoon for 3 years. (Navy) During the summer they would shut down the whole town for the highland games (Caber toss, Highland Wrestling) and lots of Lager flowing everywhere. The pipe bands marched down the streets.

There were long dark winters tho!!!!
