Fuller fouled out at 5 minute mark. And Concord's 24 played well. He got a slam also which fired up his team.

Sounds to me like Fuller has a fouls problem and Shirley can't win unless he's in the game.

Fuller has struggled with fouls even in Jr. High.

This is my personal opinion let me preference this next statement with that.

In 1A ball there seems to be a bad habit of coaches playing only maybe 6 or 7 deep they really never give more than that any play time, so every few years when those top 5-7 players graduate the under class suffer because they are not court seasoned.  This is what I think is plaguing Shirley this year, with those boys from the 5-6 years starting even back as 7th graders they started over most of the 8th 9th grade boys the under class never saw time other than say the last 3-5 minutes unless it was a major blow out. 

Now I'm not a coach and I understand they have to try and win as many games as they can, but when you don't develop your younger players this is the cycle I see anyway.
