1-3A Week 1

There have to be some 1-3A posters alive out there somewhere..... what do you guys think will be the scores in the conference week 1?

West Fork 35 Gentry 28 (West Fork pulls away late, top 1-3A team should be able to handle a bottom feeder 1-4A school)

Greenland 49 Johnson County Westside 0 (Greenland must have needed a game badly to even schedule Westside, this one will be over after about half way through the 2nd quarter)

Mountain View 35 Salem 7 (Mountain View will be way too physical for Salem)

Cedarville 50 Mountainburg 14 (Mountainburg won't be able to slow Cedarville down, expect this one over at about halftime)

Huntsville 21 Green Forest 7 (Green Forest has Huntsville's DC from last as their HC, should be a slow, methodical, low scoring game with these two)

Pea Ridge 35 Elkins 7 (Pea Ridge will be too much for Elkins, no shame in losing to a 1-4A top level team)

Melbourne 28 Yellville Summit 21 (I expect this to be a close one, both teams are very familiar with each other and both sides should be wanting this one pretty bad)

Hector 49 Marshall 14 (The Wildcats show the Bobcats that they own Hwy 27 again, Hector will score whenever it wants with their QB back again)


...... The four teams facing bad competition get W's and the four teams playing good to decent competition come away with L's. West Fork and Yellville should be involved in the close games.
