Coach Jones

LT  Blake Dyballa  6'5 320  SR
LG  Baily Pledger  6'0 225   SR
C   Dillon Lovell  6'4 240     SR
RG  Corey Ahrens  5'10 240  SR
RT  Mico Chenault  6'1 270  SR
TE  Blake Kern  6'5 230  SR

Our size has been a little exaggerated, this is a little more accurate.

Thanks Coach.  That's not the 300lb avg I've been hearing

Longfellow

That's an average of 6'2 and 254 lbs counting kern

Still pretty impressive for a 3A school.

Those boys are gonna have to start eating or we'll get dominated every game.

MICHAELSPAPPY

I'm just glad to hear the guys up front getting some attention.

Average size line and a big slow QB that can't throw.  Hope our defense is good.

Lineman

Did I miss something?  I don't think anyone called the line average size or said your Qb was slow and couldn't throw.

Larry was also not a QB.

But you still have to tackle either one of them.

And I figure that if he is a college prospect linebacker, he is agile, hostile and mobile.

Yes, that's what I said about them.

macadoshis

I would venture to guess that both Bonneville and Charleston both have lines that average 250.  Maybe Danville also.

macadoshis

Im joking saying he's slow because he's mine.  I tell him when he runs the 40 as fast as his old man to come talk to me.  He's a 4.8 kid consistently.  But feel he'll get faster.  He's worked hard to get in the best shape of his life.  He'll have to be because he'll have to handle his duties at LB as well.

He won't lack for exercise this season.

Last year we were talking mainly about quarterbacks.

Their last legit season in this era was 2008. Where they won 8 games. The last conference championship. I was 5 years old. The last playoff game they played was 2011. They have a playoff record of 9-22.
Yea, maybe that's true but they had no problem talking trash about us when we were the bottom feeders. Now the tables have turned and Lamar will never show Clarksville any mercy when it comes to football.

At least the two teams are playing each other again.  Back in the day one didn't want to play the other.

There is no way he is running a 4.8.  He was running that when he was 12-13 years old.  I'm guessing he's in the 4.5-4.6 range.

We all slow down as we get older.   :'(

Nope, if hhe was running that, we'd have a lot more colleges calling than we do.

How many bona fide college prospects at some level does Lamar have?

Well the ole black/orange game was a success.  No injuries.   Was able to run the offense a little.

At 2A/3A, no injuries is huge.

Thought he threw the ball well.  Way better than I ever thought he could.

MICHAELSPAPPY

After a recent conversation with a knowledgeable source, I am cautiously optimistic.
