finally got to watch them tonight. i've heard lots of good things about this bunch and i'll have to say they are VERY impressive.

size wise they match up with most sr teams in their area.
three starters can dunk it
long lanky run the floor and play defense

if you get a chance to watch them please do so and post your thouhgts

the jasper boys are now 21-0 on the season

Has anybody challenged them, or do they just blow everybody out?

Mt home gave them a decent game.  all other games have been 30+, starters mainly playing 1st and 3rd quarters only.

Jasper Jr Boys played their last game Saturday night and secured an undefeated season 31-0.  Congratulations Jr Pirates, first undefeated season in school history.
The starting five have moved up for Sr High Districts now and will hopefully see some action this week.

I am glad the Woodland game fell through.  Otherwise it would have been 31-1.

all 5 starters moved up to the Sr high team after the season.  They really contributed from what i saw. Helping win Sr High Dist tournament, then winning the Regional tournament, then getting to the Elite 8 of state.
during regional and state there were a few times where 3 freshman were on the court at the same time.  2 freshman played many times together and they produced on the offensive end as well as the defensive end.

Were they mainlly guards or post or did they have a little bit of it all?

6'1 forward that led them in scoring there game againts Wonderview with 16 points.
5'9 PG that really handles the ball well, makes great passes and good decisions.
6'4 post that is a manchild and hit a game winner baseline jumper and then took a charge on the other end to beat Kirby in the first round.
6'2 post that is solid as well but didn't get as much PT due to depth.
Then the other Freshman that moved up is a 3 point specialist but didn't get time due to depth.
