Who do yo guys have as the top players in the 2017, 2018, and 2019 class in the 1-4A this upcoming season?

beach bum

Disney, the Orr kid, and the defensive end that was a sophomore last year for Prairie Grove will be very good(not sure his last name?). I imagine the DE will take Dylan Schoener's spot at TE as well and fill that void as good as any kid could having such big shoes to fill.  There will be plenty more players I missed for PG....

For Pea Ridge:
Off the top of my head...
2017: RB #2 Zaine Holley, S/TE #22 Britton Caudle, CB/QB #3 Cole Wright, DL #72 Seth Trammell
2018: RB #6 Drew Winn, WR #23 Hayden Holtgrewe, QB #14 Jakota Sainsbury, LB/FB #24 Robby Pickthall

For Lincoln:
2017: Harrison Swayne
2019: Caleb Lloyd
Both of these players made a huge impact on a 4-6 playoff team a year ago for Lincoln.
Lloyd ran the ball 197 times for 995 yards, 5 yards per carry, and 9 TDs. He also caught the ball 12 times for 85 yards and 1 TD, Lloyd also threw an 89 yard touchdown.
Swayne completed 116 passes for 1691 yards and 12 TDs, 91 carries for 574 yards and 8 TDs. That totals up to 153 passing yards a game and 6.3 yards per carry.

There's a young WR that is like 6'4+ that is probably in 8th or 9th grade that is a really good player, correct? What's his name, and if he's in 9th do you think will he play up w/ the varsity?

whippersnapper

His name is Daytin Davis and he will be an 8th grader next season. I wouldn't say he is quite 6'3/4 but he is over 6'0 haha. And I think he has a couple younger brothers as well. He was a big leader for the 7th grade 9-1 team this past season, only loss was to a 9-0 PG week 10. This same group didn't win a game in peewee football.

haha gotcha... he just looked like a giant out there against other 7th graders. He played up with the Jr High too didn't he?

whippersnapper

Yes he did. Idk if he will move up as a 9th grader but Coach Harrison has done it twice now when he needs to. This year with Llyod and Carl Turner at Newport
