Fountain Lake (21) @ Dover
The Pirates are taking on water, and there seems to be nothing in place to mitigate it. Losing their top runner has lead to a dire circumstance where they have yet to score on starting defenses (the 19 points scored last week were on Danville's backups). Next up is a trip deep in the Ouachitas to a nest of Cobras that has just completed a raid of nearby Hot Springs and left both teams reeling in its wake.

Huntsville @ Elkins (28)
Good news for the Eagles: they're 2-0 for the first time in 22 years. The bad news: said two wins are the most likely they'll get. The Elks are at least two steps above the rest of Huntsville's OOC slate (especially on offense), and they'd be more than happy to open their brand-new digs on a high note.

Ozark (7) @ Charleston
Once again, a sophomore is stealing the spotlight in a veteran-laden team. Tyler "T-Bone" Sanders has demonstrated the depth of the Hillbillies quite nicely as he steps in for the injured Graham and Woolsey, following up a productive defensive showing against Booneville with a three-TD gashing of Clarksville's defense. This week's Franklin County Feud, however, will be the best indicator for where Ozark truly stands on the football landscape. The Tigers have had two weeks to find a way to retain the Outdated Trophy, but an offense that scored the most points on Charleston in the regular season last year will be coming in with a huge chip on its shoulder.

Prairie Grove @ Pottsville (7)
A Booneville side still on Cloud Nine from Week 1 almost gave away their win over the Apaches multiple times last week. Now to the Wikiup comes a Tiger side that, underwhelming as they've been the past two games, has shown enough offensive potential to put the host defense to the test. The revenge factor from last year's outcome adds fuel to the fire.

Lincoln (22) @ Subiaco
This game looked a bit more winnable for the Trojans in the preseason. Now, it's looking more daunting thanks to the Wolves' sweep of its OOS teams. On the bright side, Subi could be starting conference play with a winnable game.

Waldron @ Danville (28)
As big a shootout as it was, for the Bulldogs to prevail in convincing fashion has further demonstrated how far Paris has fallen. Alas, the Little Johns will be nowhere near the pushover. Next week's conference opener with Elkins will indicate whether Waldron is playoff-worthy.
