Why do you say that Smithian? I mean it was extremely witty and creative, that clever comment was, but what is at the core of your comment?

Why should the Lord Jesus Christ help Rogers?

I think that what Smithian is saying is that, no one IN Rogers can help them beat Fayetteville this year.........they are going to have to go outside the city limits for help........

Much like HarBer's basketball team does every year....... :P :P

Hopefully, Marty Barnes isn't getting game planning help from Ronnie Peacock.

Should Rogers even go?
Probably not.

The gas money could be saved for improving the football facilities.

I don't see how it's could be close.   Fayetteville is a horrible match up for Rogers.    Rogers can play that 2-3 defense and Fayetteville can just sit outside and shoot treys and mid jumpers with #3, Gulley, and Chochran.  It is hard to beat a team 3 times but the first two games weren't even close.    You never know though....there is a god though so you never know.

Anyone want to adjust?

urban legend

Very interested in seeing what adjustments, if any, Barnes will make. The last game was fairly close, if I recall. Just not sure if they'll have enough to win.

Yee-Haw

I think the comparisons to the 2006 football team are a big stretch.

That team was the No. 1 team and the favorite entering the title game. That's Fayetteville's role for this year's basketball game.

FYI

Rogers is 24-5
Yeah, thanks, I had no idea.

FYI Fayetteville is 29-0.

And Rogers lost to Southside....

(I know it has no implications on the game, but I just like throwing that out there when I can.)

Yee-Haw

OK. And Southside has a good team. What's your point?

Should Rogers be embarassed by losing to Southside?

How Rogers can win:

If Hawley decides "screw it, I'm just going to score every time down the floor."

Seriously, I think Rogers can win if Hawley decides to take over.
