Defense will determine this game.Ashdown by 13.

ABC™

Ashdown has played the weakest schedule of anyone in the 7-4A to this point. They haven't been tested. Will be interesting to see what happens when they are with a new QB.

I agree with all three, looking at the record of these two teams over the years it appears Nashville owns Ashdown

ABC™

Ashdown has mastered the art of choking against Nashville.

Bigredhog1971

Am I wrong but hasn't Nashville owned Dequeen also in the past?

ABC™

Yeah but that's a little different than the Ashdown rivalry.

Plus DQ has faired better than Ashdown against Nashville.

Not all that different.

ABC™

Well for one DQ doesn't choke away games against Nashville.

Both Dequeen and Ashdown have the same record against Nashville in the past 10 years

ABC™

How far back do you want to go? DQ has won more all time. But over the past 15 years both lose regularly to Nashville. Ashdown in more creative ways however.

I know the complete history but that's what it is history. Also didn't you say last week that the Malvern Ashdown game would be interesting? Not to interesting. The fact is Nashville can't stop the run and Ashdown has one of the better defenses in 4-A.

ABC™

If Ashdown can't win this year with all that talent, they need to shut the program down and give up.

We certainly didn't spot them 28 pts last year.

Maybe Nashville should since they were ranked #1 preseason!!

Never saw that poll, did you see that in the LR News or the DQ Bee? We are always number 1 in their eyes

Was looking at 2016 hootens my bad.

Same story. Last year Richardson said it would be the battle of the top defense in the state vs the top offense. Not sure who labeled them the top defense but he said it anyways. They were good enough to blow a 28 pt lead.  I do however think it will be tougher than last year.

Hootenanny had us ranked # 1 in the state?
I could have lost a life savings on that, Hootens had us 5th ranked in the state starting week 1.

I would love to see Beilema and Richardson on the same staff.

They will run him out of town by next year.  Hide and watch

Bielema should have been gone already. Or are you talking about V?  One is true, the other is hilarious

Markadomous

Ashdown plays defense. They win and Nashville falls below .500. Sounds like the junior high coach should have been promoted to senior high head coach. He gets em ready and they can't win in senior high

If you know the answer to your question why would you be dumb enough to ask it.

Maybe if Hill gets healthy you can get one in that 3a baseball bracket.  Didn't workout in 4a.

Ashdown by 21. Watch the Scrappers at Robinson, not the typical Nashville team. Talent level down this season

Was it because of bad offense or good defense?

Good defense causing bad offense I believe. Robinson D is very fast.

Don't matter "how far you want to go back" last time I checked this is this year and Nashville is pretty bad this year and Ashdown isn't. Just accept it and move on.

Why would I have anything to be upset about? I don't have a dog in the fight. Ashdown is the better team this year. Facts are Facts.

You aren't going to aggravate me. I know we aren't very good right now. But we aren't as bad as some think.

Scooter2121

Last time I looked Ashdown hasn't been beat by a team that lost to Mena!!

ABC™

Friday they could lose to the team that lost to the team that lost to Mena.
